You get what you pay for, and in this case I didn't pay much. The room was straight up dirty, lots of loose hairs throughout. What appeared to be blood (or other mystery red/orange) spots on the towels was alarming. The bathtub had cracks big enough to cut your feet on but thankfully there was a moldy bath mat to cover some of them. Cleanliness aside, the pillows were the worst I've ever experienced, the room was not well lit, and the door and ceiling were paper thin. Being woken up by housekeepers banging around outside at 7 AM wasnt on my vacation checklist. All that said, the location is a plus, within walking distance of Target and Disneyland. Housekeeping seemed to come every day to change the trash bag, which I guess is nice. But holy cow these rooms need a paint job, or something because they are rough.
DO NOT STAY HERE! I used to stay here often for the proximity to disneyland but the stay was our last straw! NEVER again! We were assigned room 105 on the bottom floor! I walk into the room and go into the restroom while my husband dropped me off and he ran to get some fast food for diner for us! I go to the restroom and as I look over I see a dead bedbug is the tub. I was startled but overlooked it. I go out of the bathroom and look on the bed and see a LIVE bed bug crawling on the pillow! I screamed and ran out! I get my husband who had returned and we go in to check out the room. We pull the bedding back and find 5 more bedbugs ALIVE! I immediately run to the hotel desk and was met by a young lady about 23ish and show her the three dead bedbugs! She gets on the phone with the manager and tells me they won’t move me and I am left in the middle of the night with no room as they were sold out! The staff called the bedbug a BEATLE and the next day we drive by and sure enough, they had someone checked into the very room the not 12 hours before was crawling with bedbugs! The gave me a refund and said good luck! It took me three hours to get another room and fortunately I had booked through hotels.com so they apologized and paid for our hotel room at the place we had to move to! This was a very bad experience! From staff to the rooms… RUN! They don’t treat for bedbugs! 🤮
I’ll start off by saying, sure this place isn’t fancy. It was wonderful for us for trying to spend less while doing a Disneyland trip! It’s what you’d expect, and clean. We stayed 2 nights with our toddler. The best part was the ease of getting to Disneyland. We were able to walk all the way there in about 20-25 minutes. The Denny’s and gas station next door were super convenient. For the price point, it was really all we needed to crash after a long day at Disney. Would definitely come back and do this again!
Positive: Staff was friendly and accommodating. Helped us make the Disney trip easy by explaining parking. Negative: There were a few bugs in the bathroom and various long hairs (we're both bald) in the bath.
EDIT: STILL 1 STAR!! This hotel responded in comment that the hotel had no control over a refund and that is A LIE.. We paid directly to the hotel on check in, asked for a refund via hotels.com, and they REFUSED to refund us. AVOID THIS NASTY PLACE! Hotel is disgusting. Unclean sheets (sand/possible bed bug infestation waste in both beds). Carpet was sticky and dirty. Towels were unclean, had make-up on them, and then folded to not be visible. Coffee maker/items were open appeared used. Plumbing was not working, guests were told to go into lobby to use bathroom because they couldn’t fix it until the next day. Also at check in, tried to get money from us and said we had no reservation, had to call 3rd party booking (hotels.com - they have also been zero help making this right), and finally they said they have the room we booked away, but can give us the last one they had. Requested refund as we only stayed in room a few hours before sleeping in car before work, and was denied. Not a safe or clean place!!
I checked into this hotel and immediately discovered urine on the bed blankets and hair in the bedding, making the room unsanitary and uninhabitable. I notified the front desk right away and stated I would not stay due to the conditions. The front desk agent, Leon, informed me that management would issue a full refund and instructed me to call back on Monday to complete the process. I relied on this statement and left the property. When I called back on Monday, management denied the refund entirely, contradicting what I was told at the time of checkout. As a result, I was charged for two days despite not receiving a usable room or services. This constitutes service not rendered, misrepresentation, and a health and sanitation concern. I am requesting a full refund and documenting this incident for credit card dispute, corporate escalation, and BBB
BEWARE! DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL immediately upon arrival we noticed a horrible wet smell in our room. There was mold along the ceiling in the bathroom. The sewer was backing up into the only sink in the room causing a rancid smell. The carpet was lined with a think, black, oily coat. We couldn’t t walk without shoes in the room or our feet would stick to the ground and be coated in it. We found dirty underwear behind the dresser. We had them come up to try to clean the mold in the bathroom but just whipping mold does not actually solve the health issue. They said we couldn’t move rooms. They are exploiting people traveling to such a popular travel destination, knowing they are unlikely to leave once they are there.
