Dude Rancher Lodge

Very clean rooms. It is an old motel, so expect that. Carpet is wrinkled in spots, paint is chipping in spots, and the colors are dated. However, the room and the bathroom were very clean and smelled good. The ac/heater worked well. TV had plenty of channels to find something to watch. The service was exceptional. And the biscuits and sausage gravy for breakfast at the on site restaurant was awesome. The breakfast voucher was $8 and worth it. It is a pet friendly motel with a small deposit when checking in. The motel is close to St Vincents Hospital and Billings Clinic for appointments. Downtown Billings, Montana is charming with lots of shops. I will stay there again.

Centrally located in Billings. Funky motel that has seen better days. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room A/C was noisy and barely worked. beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. A bright spot was the huge $8 breakfast and the very nice wait staff. Won’t be my first choice for a return trip but would stay there again in a pinch. Price was okay.

I love this motel! I have stayed twice in the rooms with the high ceilings and been really comfortable. I think there may be some variation in the rooms which is why the reviews differ. I wanted to thank the receptionist working on Sunday night for being so helpful and accommodating. I would also like to let the waitress on the diner on Monday morning know how much she brightened my day. Thanks so much for making me laugh and the wonderful breakfast burrito <3 happy holidays!

Really nice to have interior and exterior access. Parking our car right outside our room gave me a lot of comfort. Incredibly reasonably priced breakfast sounded amazing, unfortunately we have to leave before 6 tomorrow morning so we'll have to miss it. Room and furniture are darling, super glad we chose this place!

We enjoyed our stay! The room was clean and cozy. It is an old hotel, so don’t expect modern decor. We appreciated the rustic ranch vibes. Hillary was friendly and helped us with a thermostat issue. We want to give a shout out to Todd. The customer service was great and he was really informative, quick witted, and definitely added to the experience. Dustin’s only suggestion is adding games to the thermostat😂😜(If you know, you know)

I'd have given this room at least a 4 if they'd had a working fan/air conditioner. We stayed a few weeks ago for one night and the inside of the room looked great. The problem is my girl and I didn't sleep at all because we roasted to death all night the room was so hot. No working fan or air conditioner, the tv was about the size of my laptop. And to make things worse we had neighbors on both sides of us with about a dozen people in each room slamming the doors going outside to smoke every 5 minutes until around 3 am. Finally around 5 after being there for six hours we said to hell with this and got back on the road. Worst motel I've ever stayed at, clean room but they rent to the locals and the worst of the worst. You truly get what you pay for, cheap room with drug infested neighbors and if you like living in a sauna the room is perfect for you, worst experience ever!!!!!!!!
