Howard Johnson by Wyndham Billings

I can't even say "you get what you pay for", because I reserved and prepaid for a suite with a pull out couch. What I got was key cards for a room that was already occupied, after waiting 30+ minutes (they needed to "clean" the room. Back to the front desk, given keys to a smaller room and offered a roll away (at no additional cost). Finally into our room, have to plug lights in and there's old food on the floor, behind the nightstand. Definitely not what was advertised

This motel is a terrific value for the price. We loved the water slide. (You need to pay an extra $5 per person to use it. That is fine and fair.) It was nice to see families enjoying the water slide and pool. We felt safe. We liked our room and beds.

The guy up front was super nice and friendly! The cleanliness of this place is disgusting! Hair all over the bathtub, dirt on the beds and caked on old chocolate on the bed skirt. I will never stay at this establishment again, I’d rather sleep in my car. Also, why don’t charge $5 to go down the slide in the pool? Who does that?!

Positive: Close to the Highway Negative: bag over the smoke detector, wall paint in the bathroom showing signs of water damage, no spare tp, no washcloth, no hand towel. Noticed the bugs when I left.

The rating on this hotel is not fair. Out of all the hotels in the area this was the best one. The service was the impeccable, the rooms are much larger and they actually have smart tv's . This place has a pool hot tubs and it actually has a slide, an actual pool slide that was a lot more fun than I thought it would be. This would be my first choice hands down.

The bathroom door was busted, when I came to check in it took the attendant 15 minutes to appear. He then snuggled to find my reservation. All in all it was an easy enough check in just took him almost 30 min from the time I got there. The internet was spotty at best, trying yo watch a show was useless.

I’m so disappointed with this trip my room had a bedbug that I took to the office. The gentleman that was working told me that he would make sure that the office knew and for me to come down and talk to the lady in the morning. He moved me rooms all the way on the other side of the building, which wasn’t all great either. The Misty sweet smell is strong in this building. When I did, she said she had three people look and they didn’t find anything which is funny because that room is out of service now. so I felt like she was calling me a liar. I have bites all over my arm. I am very OCD and germaphobic. I myself won’t stay at this place ever again unless they really upgrade it. Big turnaround on workers, the old workers that I am familiar with were upset that I was treated the way I was treated.
