Most if not all staff are crack heads, lazy, and rude, including "Tony Ann". Rooms are disgusting, nothing is ever washed, mice and flies in every room. Smell of body fluids. Save yourself, sleep in your car or go to a shelter.
It as very peaceful during the daytime And I needed to the peacefulness to think
No wifi dirty room no deals when deals are shown on wall blanket has burn mark pillows are stained floor is dirty room had no ac
Not sure about now but had to stay there 6mos in 2014.summer was so hot no fans/AC,But plenty of mice and bed bugs.a lot of people have died there.couldnt have guests,no kids allowed but I wouldn't bring one in there if they were. Staff lives there so was difficult to get help when there always in there room.the woman at the desk was miserable
I honestly wish I could give a negative 5. I am SHOCKED at how these people treat paying customers. It borders along the line of abuse. They wouldn't give me a fan in a room that didn't have an ac. When I asked for one or to switch rooms she acted like I just slapped her face. She was rude ignorant and impolite until I literally had to beg for a fan to not pass out. Then she sent maintenance up to fix it and he literally scolded me for getting him out of bed to do his job. I couldn't believe how rude I had been treated. And to top it all off they refused to give me my deposit because my friend is the one that gave the counter money. My friend was letting me take the deposit to get home because he had to leave earlier than me. The old man at the front had absolutely no compassion for my situation and was very abrupt and rude and abrupt about it. I have never received such horrendous service in my life. Like they love to be mean and disrespectful. Where has human decency gone???
Pretty much every review of this hotel is filled with misinformation from people who seem to have fought with the desk clerk and are taking it out on Google Reviews. I've been staying here for six months while trying to find an affordable apartment (I could really use some luck with that sitch, but that's a story for another time). I will attempt to correct all of the wrong or outdated information in the other reviews, while trying to stay as neutral as possible. First, I'm not sure about nightly rates, but there are weekly rates. It's $289/wk plus $20 deposit which you get back after your stay, assuming you don't set the lobby on fire or remove your bathroom plumbing. You can stay for up to three consecutive weeks, then you must leave for one day, then you may return and start the process over. (It's a long story, but this 3-week rule had to basically be instituted because some customers were at one time trying to squat in some of the rooms without paying). Second, I believe pets were welcome here at one time, but no longer are. (If you MUST have a pet, just do what I do: you will occasionally see a mouse or two, depending on what room you're in. If you're lucky enough to have one in your room, just name it Mr. Jingles and pretend it's your magical therapeutic rodent companion. You'll never get bored!) Speaking of pests, not only have I never had a single bedbug incident, none of the other regulars have either. In fact, this building is almost strangley bug-free. I haven't even seen a spider or a house fly. Not that I'm complaining! I'll take mice over spiders any day. Also, when checking in, there is a limit to two adults to a room, and both guests must provide ID. As far as all the employees here being mean, that's just not true. If you treat them like human beings, they will be as helpful and friendly as the staff at any 4-star New York hotel. OK, maybe that's stretching it, but they're all pretty chill - especially considering some of the stuff they have to deal with. Next, most rooms have their own private bathroom. If most of the rooms are rented, you may get stuck having to share a common bathroom with a couple of people, but the prices are even cheaper for those rooms from what I understand. EVERY ROOM has a flat-screen TV and basic cable. Due to a recent fire, the Wi-Fi was damaged and has not yet been repaired. Also, some of the reviews said that some people were doing drugs in some of the rooms. This is absolutely true. But I only know this because WHAT DO YOU THINK MOST PEOPLE ARE DOING IN MOST OF THE WORLDS HOTEL ROOMS MOST OF THE TIME? DRUGS! Trash bags and bathroom tissue is provided on request, free of charge. Enjoy your stay!
The rooms were absolutely disgusting. The bed didn't have a blanket or sheet which I doubt I would have used anyways since the room was so filthy. Bugs coming out of the walls, ashes on the table when we arrived. Bathroom looks like it had never been touched. It was absolutely horrible. There's way too much flaws to speak. Yeah it's $65 a night but definitely not worth it. Someone should call a health inspector because this place is not fit to run a buisness.
