Motel 6 Brockton, MA

I stayed at this Motel 6 for over two months due to a temporary housing situation, and it was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The property felt extremely unsafe. Non-guests were constantly present throughout the building, harassing guests, loitering in stairwells, and openly using drugs. Fire alarms went off frequently, and management did not appear to control who was entering the property or enforce bans on individuals who clearly did not have reservations. The conditions were unacceptable. The room was infested with roaches, the shower was broken and had to be held by hand to use, most electrical outlets did not work, and the TV remote only functioned if held inches from the screen. The mattress had a deep permanent indentation that caused ongoing back pain. I had to move the refrigerator around the room just to find a working outlet. Amenities were misleading or unusable. There was only one microwave located in the lobby, which felt unsafe to use due to constant harassment and chaotic behavior in common areas. We regularly chose to eat cold food rather than use it. Complimentary coffee was advertised as available from 6–11am, but it was often gone by 7:30–8am. Despite keeping to myself, working daily, and never causing issues, I was eventually placed on a "no rent" list after a single incident involving an attempt to help someone briefly charge a phone, which escalated despite repeated efforts to have them leave. Aside from that, I did not associate with anyone on the property. The rates charged were completely unreasonable given the unsafe environment, poor maintenance, and lack of basic standards. Management needs to take serious responsibility for controlling access to the property, addressing drug activity, and maintaining livable conditions. I would strongly discourage anyone from staying here unless they have no other option.

I went downstairs today at about 4-4:30pm at the front desk, and I was standing there for 10 minutes asking the guy for a towel but he was just sitting back there ignoring me, i was even trying to talk louder and knock on the window thinking maybe he didn't hear me but he just kept ignoring me, then a cleaner walked past me and I was about to go ask her for a towel but she closed the door to the laundry room and wouldn't answer it when I knocked. Another person came down for the same reason as me and he was ignoring her too, it's absolutely unbelievable someone can't even take a shower around here. If you are looking for good service this is not the right place for you!!

Positive: The price Negative: The room was filthy and there were even hyperdermic needles in the hall. If i could send pics i would and honestly deserve my money back. They sent me in rooms 3 different times that still had people in them

The location of the motel is good, but unfortunately they don’t take good enough care of their rooms. There were roaches in the bathroom, and water seeping from the roof of the bathroom. The beds were made and clean on first inspection but after one night it was clear that the sheets for one of our beds were not washed completely, with makeup streaks being all over the pillow. I’m already prepared for us not to get a refund for the poor service based on the other reviews but it’s still nonetheless. Don’t recommend others coming here for a stay. We definitely won’t.

I visited recently there and had a very pleasant experience. Stayed there for 3 days and turned out people there were really helpful and welcoming. Entire support staff especially a guy named Mandeep was very much delightful to deal with. He was there with every step of the way and made sure our stay was as pleasant as it can get. An asset here definitely. We thank you for making our stay so peaceful and pleasant.

A pretty solid place overall . The staff is really friendly, and it's relatively affordable. I've stayed here quite a few times on different occasions. Would recommend especially if you're in a pinch. Easy on and off the highway

We checked into Motel 6 around 2:30 a.m. after 17 hours of driving, but we didn't make it an hour before leaving. There were roaches in the room and something scratching in the walls. We immediately went to the front desk, and the clerk agreed the conditions were unacceptable. He assured us that we would get a refund, but we had to go through Booking.com because that is how we reserved the room. That was Oct 4th. We are still waiting on our refund
