Residence Inn by Marriott Cincinnati Downtown/The Phelps

Excellent choice. A very good 3 day stay from check in to check out. Large comfortable rooms which were very quiet. The kitchen is an added bonus. Breakfast was above and beyond. Freshly cooked with lots of choices. Highly recommend this hotel!

We love the Phelps. They have a really considerate staff. The location is perfect. In the spring and summer there’s a very nice rooftop bar. The bar in the lounge is a nice hangout before the night caps. You get free breakfast the next morning. Parking is available in the street or they have valet. We’ll always be back.

Great hotel, spacious rooms, clean and quiet. Great location Breakfast is good and with a lot of variety. Dinner service however was less than average with Costco type food on your plate. Doesn't look like the food is prepared from fresh ingredients.

Location of the hotel is good but rooms are not insulated and got colder at night. We caught cold due to cold air leakage in the room. We complained about the heating in room , they said they fixed something but we still faced issues that night. Service was also not good , they premised vacuuming and full service after 2 days of stay but they didn’t do it. Only positives were breakfast and location. We expected much better from a Marriott hotel.

This is our "Go To" place when we visit Cinci. Yes, the location is great and the price is right, but the biggest draw is the staff. You literally feel like you are home; you are very well taken care of. On our current stay, Manager Tim and Lisa helped me find my shirt and shaving kit which I had left behind on my previous visit. And all of the guest in the dinning room this morning were praising Karrie's grits which several said were the best they ever had - and they knew grits! I know this review sound hyperbolic, but is it is true. Really feels like home when you are here.

We stayed at the Residence Inn by Marriott Downtown Cincinnati with our family. The location is very nice and convenient, and the room itself was good and comfortable. However, the property does feel like it could use some updates. Parking was a downside — they only offer valet parking at $42 per night. While there are nearby parking options, they’re not very convenient, especially when traveling with kids. Overall, a decent stay mainly due to the location, but the parking situation and need for updates detract from the experience.

Stayed there about a week ago. The rooms are nice and clean. The service was amazing. Jocelyn at the front desk was so nice, professional, and helpful. Give that woman a raise! She went above and beyond what I was expecting.
