Plato’s Chair ~ for those on "The Road Less Traveled"

❤️ ❤️ ❤️ the mystic portal! The view of Pike's Peak and the front range is spectacular from the pristine hot tub! Rooms are clean and comfortable. The host is available if I need anything but not all up in my business! This is a great place for a magical stay with peace and quiet, and a fantastic view!

Such an amazing place of total relaxation. My wife and I just celebrated our ten year anniversary in Colorado Springs, and we got so lucky when we booked here. The hostess was so sweet and welcoming. The rooms we stayed in were so open and unique. Had a nice feel to them. Could tell there was recent remodeling, nice! The views are unmatched when relaxing in the hot tub! I highly recommend staying here!!

Very clean room, comfortable bed, the owner was nice and its in a good location, for that I give it the 3 stars. But the pictures/description are not accurate for this place. --Shared bathroom, not private --No breakfast served --Window unit and fan for A/C Our room was the "Treehouse Room". In our room we had no where to put luggage or our clothing, there was poor lighting and blankets covering the windows instead of drapes or blinds. Not what I expect for $179/night + tax and fees

I can't even begin to explain how amazing this place is. The host is beyond amazing. I changed as a person after leaving the portal. The rooms are quiet and peaceful. The room over looked the mountains and it was just what I needed to celebrate my 30th birthday.

This place is NOT as advertised. The owner was away when we got there and we were checked in by a sweet lady. Thats where the good stuff ends. This house is in a very sketch part of town and has no secure parking. The kitchen gave me the squeems. Pic is of whatever random cans were crammed into the non working ice maker and the smell of the fridge was gross. We ended up leaving. Do yourself a huge favor and go somewhere else. Should be described as an eclectic storage shed. And that is me being nice.

The owner made things very uncomfortable, she also made us believe that she is racist. She wouldn't allow a paid guest to stay, after seeing his photo.

We loved the Mystic Portal Bud & Breakfast! My husband & I were looking for a quiet place to relax, enjoy the views & enjoy 420 and the Mystic Portal was perfect!!! Thank you, MaryAnn for a wonderful visit!!!!
