Omni Corpus Christi Hotel

We decided to do a mini getaway with the kids, and the Omni Hotel in Corpus Christi was perfect for our family. The biggest win for us was having both indoor and outdoor heated pools — the kids absolutely loved it. They swam late into the evening and were back in the water almost immediately after waking up the next morning. Check-in was quick and easy, and the front desk staff went above and beyond by giving the kids little goodie bags, which kept them entertained in the room. That small gesture made a big difference. Overall, it was a stress-free, fun, and relaxing family getaway without even leaving town. We’re already talking about making this a monthly tradition! Highly recommend for families looking for a quick escape.

Great experience! Highly recommend this very clean hotel, which is in a prime central location. Everyone was super friendly and helpful, including the front desk, bellman, coffee/gift shop and room service staff. We were very happy with our room, which overlooked the bay. The shuttle service was a life saver!!!Our flight from Dallas arrived nearly 2 hours late, at 1am. I fully expected that the shuttle driver would not be waiting, and we would have to get an Uber. But I was so relieved and grateful that the shuttle service came thru for us. Although I thought the condition of the hotel is excellent, I was told they are planning a full remodel to update the room interiors within a few months.

The view was beautiful.The room was not cleaned. Chair & ottoman had salsa on it. They came to clean it. Light bulbs out in bathroom. They fixed that as well. The parking garage card kept saying our time at the hotel expired. So we had to keep getting assistance in & out. That never got fixed. Annoying as hell. Very disappointing for the price you pay for these rooms. This hotel is showing it's age no doubt. Our view was the best part of our stay.

Positive: The view of the Lexington from our balcony. Negative: We had to ask for soap. No big deal. I thought breakfast was included. It was not. And the price is higher than all other hotels. Self parking was $30 and Valet $40.

If I could give this hotel zero stars, I would. Please stay away from this hotel—trust me. Here’s why: 1. We checked in on Saturday afternoon while the hotel was hosting a large event. That should not be an excuse for leaving large bags of trash outside the room they assigned us. The smell was terrible, so I had to ask for a room change. 2. The second room was even worse. People were smoking nearby, and the smoke smell filled our room. This is supposed to be a non-smoking hotel, and I was traveling with two small children. I had no choice but to request another room. The hotel offered two complimentary breakfasts for the next day (Sunday), but they don’t actually serve breakfast on Sundays—only brunch starting at 10:30 a.m., with checkout at 11:00 a.m. That "compensation" was basically useless. 3. The shower water pressure was extremely low, making it very difficult to shower. This hotel is supposed to be one of the best in the city, but our experience was terrible from start to finish. For the same price, you’re much better off staying somewhere else. Don’t waste your money.

Stayed over the weekend and really enjoyed it. Friendly staff, easy parking with the attached garage, and an incredible view of the bay. The breakfast setup is nice since you can choose between the menu or a full buffet with two omelet stations. Plus, there’s a fine dining restaurant and bar upstairs for a solid dinner option.

I always love my stay here. The hotel is conveniently located right across the marina, offering a stunning view of the water that makes waking up a delightful experience. The service and staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, and I particularly enjoy the beautiful restaurant located upstairs. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
