Do NOT waste your time or money here! They have an active cockroach infestation, the room smelled like cigarettes, there was so much dog poop that my fog was sick for four days after leaving this "hotel." Left after only three days because the cops were there every single day. Had an employee and a resident threatening to beat each other up RIGHT outside my door. My dog didn't ever want to leave the room. I had to leave behind over $150 worth of items because I'm not bringing roaches with me on my travels. They won't even answer rhe phone to discuss a refund - RUN FAR AWAY!!!!! The good reviews are the long term residents, I had to leave after only three days! The exact me to eat $900 and continue to rent roach infested rooms to poor unsuspecting travelers. Trying to add some pictures

I needed a bit of an extended stay here until I was ready to move onto campus nearby. All the other hotels in the area, recommended by the university were too high priced and way out of my budget. I wound up staying here for a week and would definitely stay here again if I ever needed to. The rooms are very clean and spacious with a full fridge and stove if you need to cook. I didn’t wind up needing room service because I didn’t wind up staying for the 2 weeks I would’ve initially needed, so I can’t speak on room service but cleanliness and quietness go a long way for me and this hotel had that. They’re the cheapest in the area by a country mile and all the amenities you need are nearby too.

Not great. First impression as I walked into the lobby was the weed scent that almost knocked me over. Hotel is severely run down but, and this is a testament to the staff, it was as clean as humanly possible. White sheets and white towels were immaculate. Floors were chewed up but clean. Fridge, microwave and stovetop all worked fine. Bathroom was clean but the tub had some weird, uncleanable discoloration. Outlets were hit and miss but enough worked. Did see one cockroach crawl into the storage room on the third floor after flying through the elevator lobby there, but none in the room. Also, checked thoroughly for bedbugs and found none. Overall Google. rating on here may be skewed by one of the pictures I'm posting so beware

Birch Hill Suites has been amazing! I called and they had a room available that night. The facility has clean rooms with kitchenettes, TVs, nice size bathrooms and rooms. They also have coin laundry on site. The location is great because it is off the road and safe, but still close enough to stores and the Beavercreek mall hub. The staff is incredibly friendly and willing to work with those who work with them. 10/10 would recommend.

White sheets and white towels were immaculate. Floors were chewed up but clean. Fridge, microwave and stovetop all worked fine. Bathroom was clean but the shower and tub had some spots on the wall near the ceiling. Service was ok, rooms does not have pots, dishes, or utincels. But when asked for it from front desk the did provide 2 dishes. Did see one cockroach crawl on the floor of the room.

We booked a king room well in advance of the arrival date, paid in advance, non refundable fee for 3 nights, entered room #225 and it was double. Moved us to king room #205 and it had not been cleaned in a long time, toilet was black inside, garbage in cans, bed sheets were not clean, dirty, moldy towels on floor, clear dried glue like clumps all over kitchen sink and counter, top and door of refrigerator, toilet, bathroom sink, etc. Asked for new room and was told no more are available but offered us a refund. We were in town for the big Air Force Marathon Race event so finding another hotel with a room for last minute walk-ins was not an option. I left for Expo and husband cleaned the room with supplies they gave him as no staff was available to clean it for us. He spent two hours scrubbing, including using a scrapper to try and get the glue stuff up. Full kitchen but no dishes, pots, silverware, cups, nothing; front desk had one pan only to loan us. We had to go to Wal-Mart and purchased basic items so we could cook. The carpeted floor was dirty and they did not have a vacuum to loan us so we had to live with that. No clean towels available till late that evening and could not get more during stay. The smell of marijuana was in the hallway of the 2nd floor continuously. The room a few down the hall from us played loud mariachi music all day that was so loud it could be heard on the entire second floor. Other guest had large, unleashed dog that we came across several times in hallways and lobby. The front deck was not manned 24 hours, one morning the place was still locked up at 9am. We have stayed in this hotel a few times in the past and didn't encounter any of the above issues. Not sure what happened but after this stay, I have to say that this would not be a good place to stay with a family, and don't stay here for a pleasure trip. If you're in town long term for work and don't need a clean, quiet room, don't need a supplied kitchen so you can cook meals in room, and your job doesn't pay for a nice place then stay here. The front desk staff was nice enough (except for one older guy) but nice didn't get us towels or a clean room. And as we checked out of our prepaid room, they hit us with a Linen Service Fee of $5.98. No notice of that in advance and we sure did not get linen service during the three day stay, except for one initial set of sheets that my husband had to put on the bed the first day. Looking back, I cannot believe we actually stayed at this hotel after arrival, but at the time we felt that we had no options. If you're reading this review, you still have other options so take them!!!
