Escondido Inn

Michael, the owner, was incredibly friendly and hospitable! Our room was cute. We loved the murals on the wall and ceiling. The water pressure and shower head were excellent! Also, the mini-fridge in the room was super cute! We appreciated the complimentary bottled water (there's also complimentary coffee for anyone who partakes). Also, when we needed extra towels and pillows, those needs were accommodated promptly! The location is conveniently walking-distance from many local establishments and attractions.

The motel is well located and sparkling clean. I did deduct one point because of curb appeal (dated look) and lack of coffee maker or availability of coffee in the morning. The room appeared to be recently upgraded, with attractive murals on the ceiling and walls. I did have one problem with hot water in the morning. One of us had a shower with nice hot water, but after that shower, there was only tepid water available. There were some funky additions to the room, e. g. a new retro microwave and little refrigerator and a charmingly funky retro telephone. I would stay here again for a short stay.

I love coming to Escondido inn it’s clean and I love the artwork and the wall and the stars when you turn the light off.if makes you feel relax and not think about stress or anxiety. And sleeping on the bed it’s great

I stayed at this motel with my puppy and loved it. It is a great budget option and dog-friendly. The owner provided a bucket of treats for our pup. The rooms were clean and serviced by housekeeping in between nights. I recommend bringing ear plugs or headphones since you can hear outside easily.

This is just a fantastic little motel within very easy striking distance of residences & restaurants in Escondido. This is my like my 35th time and I will stay here again and I absolutely love it. The rooms are modern, clean and well-furnished. The people are wonderful and attentive, always friendly. This is a real gem. HIGHLY recommended!

Drove in to Escondido for a kids event. Checked in at 1am and had no problems. Paid about $90 so it wasn't bad to just crash for the night. The parking lot was clean and empty. You can hear some cars on the road but nothing too crazy. The galaxy night light is cool and my kids loved it. The murals were also neat. The room smelled clean and had no problems for the night.
