Motel Mediteran Escondido

I had a great stay at Motel Mediteran in Escondido. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making it easy to relax after a long day. The staff was friendly and accommodating, always willing to help with anything I needed. The location is convenient, with easy access to nearby restaurants, shopping, and the freeway, yet the motel itself was quiet and peaceful. For the price, the value was excellent and exceeded my expectations. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Motel Mediteran to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and affordable place to stay in Escondido.

The price you’re paying to stay in these nice rooms are quite unbeatable for this area. Not sure what everyone’s talking about, but my room was really clean and we had a lot of privacy. My only problem is how "inland" this place is, meaning you kind of have to travel far in order to look for some fun stuff to do. If you’re visiting and need somewhere affordable and comfortable, this is the right spot and I’m glad I carried a lot of confidence in this establishment.

Positive: It's not next to a hwy Negative: Its a very modest motel. Some stains on towels, maintenance needs, no desk in my room, cheap feeling.

This Motel gets a 100 star. The manger and staff were so nice and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and very clean, and really quiet there, all respect privacy. I stayed 3 nights alone, and I was so comfortable there, like you were at your real home. I will continue to go there, it’s close to everything you want. This was my very first time stays 3 nights there, and the only thing that I regret, is that I had to leave, wanted to stay there forever, great job manager and staff! I recommend everyone to go and stay there, you’ll not regret it

I am a Travel Nurse who has stayed at many Motels and Hotels. This motel is very clean with beautiful Garedeninb and surroundings The Rooms are beautiful and the beds are very comfortable. Priya at the Front desk is very accommodating and very friendly! Great value ! I give it a 10/10

***** Don't bother wasting your money at this Motel! ***** I requested a Queen-sized bed but was given two full-sized beds instead. When requesting this to be corrected, the front desk straight-up lied in my face, saying there were none available and that a double (full) bed is the same size as a Queen (they are not). The double beds that were given to me had stains all over them too (GROSS). When calling Hotels.com to speak with them, they tried to get me the correct Queen-sized bedding. The front desk then gave me the queen-sized room I originally requested. Come to find out they use a double (full) sized bed for their "Queen-sized" rooms (shady). Curtain covers were broken. The bedding ALSO had STAINS! Spent almost two hours trying to resolve this before realizing the front desk was not going to help us. We ended up staying at a Motel 6 in Carlsbad which was far better than this place. Even worse, we requested a refund and was denied by the owner. Don't waste your hard-earned cash here.

To summarize, there was a small misunderstanding with the front desk attendant. I got way too upset over it. Raised my tone, etc but in the end it was abundantly clear that she is a kind and patient person and she was very forgiving. The room is also much nicer than what I expected and the bathroom is super nice. Everything is very clean as well. Thank you, and again, I’m sorry for being a total jerk
