Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort Hotel & Suites

I had a reservation for this hotel through Priceline for NOV 8-10, 2025. I got to the hotel around 3-4 pm. There was no representative to check me and my 10 year old son. We waited for 34 minutes. Then I just went to reserve a room at a nearby hotel (OCEAN SKY) whcu had multiple people at the front desk, water, and a waiting area. With This beach resort, I have never experienced a hotel that do not a ring bell or anything to be able to check people in. I have never seen a front desk door be locked definitely around check in time ( ~ 1-6 pm). They didn't have a number for us to call or be able to get someone to the front desk. I didn't even see other works such as room service anywhere around. It seemed deserted and vacant. The pool outside look un-kept. Nonetheless, since I had to take my son and me to another hotel. I have Respectfully asked for a refund and I only received less than 1/3 back. I feel like it was unfair that if I didn't get the proper customer service to even check me in, how come I'm not getting a full refund. Then the hotel tell a lie to priceline that they were waiting for me. I want to pull cameras and go to the full extent because if you are in the wrong there shouldn't have been any hesitation go return full refund. I think I am more frustrated because it wasn't only me. My son was out there as well waiting. I hope they didn't expect me to wait HOURS for them. But definitely would not recommend this hotel. With definitely how they kept the outside of the hotel, I can only imagine how the rooms are. I may have saved myself from a lot by going to Ocean Sky instead.

Mya at the front desk was so friendly and helpful!! Thankful for her when our flight got cancelled and we needed a last minute reservation. Location is great, 10-15 minute walk from the beach and local coffee shops.

We had a wonderful night and day here. The staff were kind and extremely accommodating. I would recommend to anyone coming who is looking for a good priced beach hotel and will be returning!

One perk was when arriving, they allow you to either put a hold on your card, or give them cash. Using cash upon checkout you will get it back right away. Upon check out, I later was informed the $100 that the front desk gave me back was fraudulent. I knew it felt a little fake but I just didn’t think too much in it . I literally did say it feels a little papery and all she did was laugh . I now have authorities involved and police reports documented . I’ve been trying to reach the manager for quite sometime with no luck, if I call in the morning they say he comes in at night , I call at night, he comes in the morning .

The front desk staff members are very helpful. They went to a neighboring facility to get hot water for us (all seniors). And they gave us clear directions on how to find restaurants and how to get taxi or Uber rides.

Stayed here for 2 nights and had a nice time, the staff as very friendly and the location is great if you can’t afford much. It’s just a 5 minute walk from the beach across the street, a safe 13 minute walk from a nice cafe in town. There were some cockroaches in our room, and the place is showing its age, otherwise the place was clean with a nice pool. Bring your own supplies for the beach and your own toiletries

Positive: Location Negative: 1. Ants covered the whole bathroom. Got on my stuff. Nasty.. coming through wall... 2. beds extremely hard.. 3. Key card constantly didn't work.
