Redondo Beach Inn

The girl at the front desk is rude & unfriendly. First thing I did was clean the room...whoever is doing this service needs lessons in cleaning or to be fired. I wore shoes or socks the entire time because the one time I didn't the bottoms of my feet were black. Stayed there 6 nights & wasn't offered clean linens or towels once. There is even a sign in the room that states room service is mandatory every 2 days. 2 floors & no elevator, had to drag my stuff up a & down 3 flights of stairs. Rooms have a refrigerator but no microwave. On a positive note the rooms are good sized & it's one of the cheapest places around. You get what you pay for.

Positive: Probably the cleanest, most well-kept motel/hotel room I've ever stayed at. Negative: Since I do NOT like frequent room housekeeping visits, I gave this motel a low rating - they mandate room cleaning every two days (you have to leave the room for 10-15 minutes whenever they clean). Parking space very limited; not easy to enter/exit lot.

Room was unsatisfactory. Exceeding normal wear and tear. On entry to room I noticed hole in drywall in living room that requires patching and painting. The living room had a significant amount of paint spills/stains on floors that needed professional cleaning or resurfacing? A fresh paint coat would greatly enhance its appeal. Walls had some scuffs and marks that a repaint would really spruce up. Making it feel more welcoming for guests.

Anyone who gives this dump more than 1 star is delusional. This place is a dump. Hasn’t been renovated since 1960. It’s insulting that they charge more than $30/night. It’s one of the worst hotels in LA and that’s saying something because Motel 6 still exists. It’s unbelievable people choose to stay here. I needed one night in an emergency and immediately got wished I slept in my car instead. Avoid it.

Really bad. Everything is falling apart. There is trash everywhere in the parking lot. Nothing inside the room works. Toilet doesn’t work, refrigerator doesn’t work. It is filthy and dirty. It’s best to get a hotel farther away even if you have to drive to this area.

This is hands down the worst hotel I every stayed in!! The walls are so thin, I could hear the entire conversation next to me. The toilet was disgusting. Everything was disgusting. This place should be shut down. Gross! The room smelled bad. There was poor lighting. The paint was crazy paint with lots of dings on the wall. Just horrible.

I recently enjoyed yet another exceptional stay at this hotel, and I can confidently say that it continues to exceed my expectations with each visit. The housekeeping is consistently top-notch, ensuring that the rooms are pristine and well-maintained, with fresh towels and linens always at the ready. The customer service has been outstanding, with both the front desk and housekeeping staff demonstrating a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction; they are always friendly, accommodating, and quick to respond to requests. Additionally, the property's family-friendly atmosphere and stringent safety measures make it an ideal choice for travelers with children. I have never encountered any issues during my stays, and I greatly appreciate the immaculate condition of the restrooms throughout the hotel. Overall, this establishment remains a reliable and welcoming haven for anyone seeking a comfortable and stress-free experience.
