Wanderstay Boutique Hotel

Wanderstay was EVERYTHING!!! We recently stayed at Wanderstay Hotel and had such a great experience! The location was perfect and super easy to get to, with plenty of parking. From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly and welcoming. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests. The rooms were beautifully decorated with so much attention to detail — it felt cozy, unique, and thoughtfully put together. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and I’m already looking forward to coming back again!

Beautiful space and kind staff! Super clean and well maintained. It felt like I was walking into my best friends house, Wanderstay had great energy and it was well decorated. I love that there’s access to so many "homey" amenities and gives a well rounded experience. I went to Houston for education, but made it a short trip with a friend, as I had never been. But in all my travels all over the world, Wanderstay just gives something different. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but it seems that the space and people in general gives a lot of option and opportunity for more than just a ‘stay’. It could be like a work collaboration or something too. I guess what I’m getting at, don’t just think to book here for a vacation or something, this would be a wonderful place for a work meet or community event too. I definitely underestimated Wanderstay, not that I expected anything subpar, but I didn’t take into account the actual amenities they provide, with a conference room, living room feeling lobby, and a full service kitchen! Definitely check it out! I’ll be staying here again next time I visit.

My review is most helpful for those considering booking the entire venue. I hosted a women’s holistic wellness retreat and the space worked out perfectly. More so than I envisioned. For a group of 16 with lots of movement (dance and stretching), we each had plenty of space. I’d highly recommend for intimate gatherings that require privacy. We also had an audio tech come in to provide a speaker system. That way no matter where you were within the building you heard the music clearly. The vibrant aesthetics also make photos pop. Thank you, Deidre and your amazing staff!!!

Perfect spot to host a work event! I was surprised by the cost to rent the whole place out with rooms for a team building overnight or companies operating more remote. There’s conference rooms and a beautiful kitchen. It’s secure. This is perfect for any small businesses that’s looking for a more local spot that’s elevated and more modern than an b&b but also not generic like a Marriott

Loved this hotel! Super cute inside, comfy rooms. I love that they provide a white noise machine. The only downside is the location is ok. It's very convenient that the metro rail is only a block away and there are some fun restaurants and shops down the street but otherwise it just didn't feel like the safest area although the hotel itself was amazing.

This place is CHARMING! We stayed one night (1/30/26) while visiting the area for a track meet at U of H. We’d previously stayed at the hotel on campus but wanted to try something different. Glad we did! Check-in was easy (thanks Jasmin), the community living was cozy, and our room was filled with not only essentials but individual character as well. Great location for walking to nearby restaurants. Overall, a nice, unique place to stay!

My room was clean, comfortable, and nicely designed, which made it easy to relax. The hotel had a peaceful atmosphere and was in a convenient location close to food and shopping. Customer service was excellent throughout my stay. Overall, I really enjoyed my time here and would definitely recommend it. BOOK NOW!!
