Hollywood Hotel

This is a DUMP! Walking in did not feel like your normal casino hotel. The hotel STINKS and is very outdated. The bathroom is so OLD we didnt want to shower! Stayed up all night with the noise. Health Dept needs to be called and also the city as it seems to have alot of women of the night!!!! We were SHOCKED!!!! The walk to the casino is very far and you shouldn't have to look behind your back while walking jn the dark. We asked if they had shuttle service and they said absolutely not! What a difference compared to any other HOLLYWOOD! SHAME ON YOU!!! Save the apology blanket paragraph on this page as you ob loudly know the issues for years and haven't done anything! Wish I would have read them before hand!

Surprisingly clean and friendly. We stayed in the adjoining RV park which was comfortable and quiet. Deer and turkeys visited our site. Casino and restaurant were within walking distance. Cost was about 35 dollars a night for pull through site with water and electricity. One hour to downtown Chicago. Frequent security patrols noted. Would stay here again

We got a room with a jacuzzi and a king bed. While the room was a little outdated, the jacuzzi was wonderful and the mattress was very comfortable and soft! I usually have a sore back when sleeping on hotel mattresses, but not this one! Kynetta and Malachi at the front desk were very friendly, and did a great job taking care of us! We would definitely come back here again!

We use the campground which has fairly large sites with plenty of greenspace. The deer can be seen around the edges of the lot. Be warned that they turn water on on April 15 and off October 12. When the water is off you can't fill fresh water or dump tanks. Security monitors every 1/2 hour or so.

Rooms were clean, that is where the good stuff ends. If you want to go to the casino from the hotel, you need to walk across the parking lot on the other side of the property. The casino has one sports bar for food and drinks that is open during the week, be prepared to wait for service and hope you get what you ordered. The fancy steak restaurant is not open except the weekend. Back to the hotel. The website says continental breakfast, It had one kind of glazed donuts and coffee, and they gave you jelly packets to spread on the donuts. Might had some fruit out but not all the time and not very good condition. Seemed more like a motel than a hotel. A place to stay from the casino, but nothing more.

We stayed in the RV spaces. Very quiet and clean. You have access to water which was a surprise and electricity. The hotel gives you a key for access to laundry and bathrooms with showers. The casino is in the same parking lot as the hotel. Clean & smoke free with great restaurants.

Rooms are clean and basic. Water pressure is weak in shower. Two free bottles of water is a nice touch. I love the soap dispenser in the shower. Ac works great. Young lady who checked me in was in a bad mood and really gave me a terrible first impression on check in. Close to casino and Interstate 80. Free basic breakfast in the am. A handful of grab and go items. Lots of grass areas around the hotel. Rv park available. Handicap parking is very accessible. Snack machines available.
