Motel 6 Joliet, IL - Chicago - I-55

Staying at the 6 is great every time I come through. The whole staff is attentive and very adamant about accommodating guests that stay frequently as well as new comers. They are flexible and pet friendly. Nice flat screen tv’s with a good selection of channels, you can also connect streaming devices. WiFi is pretty good and Parking is always available. They do a good job with housekeeping also. So shout out to the lovely Nadia, Cecilia, Pricilla, Martha and my boy Sid

Bed bugs! I would leave a "0" rating if the site would allow it. |I checked into my room and thankfully did not set my luggage on the floor or bed or unpack. I saw a brown bug walking across the mattress and at first thought it was a tick. My dogs and I had been in rural MN so it seemed possible. But it was a bedbug. I killed two more, found what looked to be eggs under the box spring, and bolted out of there. ||They have yet to refund my stay, although I took pictures of the bugs I had killed and left them on the bedside table for them to see.||The doubt I will get a refund, but at least it managed to leave before my dogs or my luggage were infested.

Sid, Percilla, Cecilla, Nidia, and Martha are awesome at the front desk. The tub shower combo is very comfortable to sit in and take a nice soak. I feel safe sleeping here, and parking my car. There are plenty of restaurants near by. The local mall is just basically across the street. There are two washers and two dryers on the second floor if you need to do laundry. The ice a machine ice is always fresh tasting. If staying a few days and you have the mini refrigerator there is and ADLI, Fresh Thyme, and Dollar Tree within less than a three minute drive. I had a bit of a stay, at this location, and had to have a few items delivered here, and the staff happily held them for me when I returned to "my home away from home." With this being a basic hotel, the staff make feel like I am staying at a resort. If I could give this location a TEN star review I would. Please consider staying here. Oh, plus only a forty minute drive to Chicago in non-rush hour traffic.

Positive: The door room locked Negative: Yes, the halls smelled. For$78, the room had no fridge. The bed squeaked with every movement. And it had a slight odor. Hallway noise most of the night made this trip uncomfortable.

Room service was incredible. Staff were very kind. They were caring Very clean and organized the front desk people were very nice, especially Pricilla and Nadia I definitely recommend going back the best stay over I’ve ever had in Joliet.

The Motel 6 Joliet, IL - Chicago, located in the Joliet Mall area was a very pleasant surprise! Our room was on the 2nd floor and was updated and very clean. Bed was comfortable, bedding very clean as well as towels. A wall thermostat kept the room perfect. Everything in the room worked and all furniture and fixtures were clean and undamaged. New drapes also! Security was great too. Plan to stay there again in the spring. Thanks Marta & Charlie, we enjoyed our 3 nights!

location is great lots of restaurants in the area aldi & Target near by for anything you might have forgotten. staff is very welcoming and accommodating location is pet friendly at no extra cost. Rooms are clean
