Hotel No Vacancy®

I love staying at No Vacancy! I travel for work and don’t need a lot of extra amenities. This is like staying in a cozy apartment within walking distance of my office. The management communicates well and is dedicated to ensuring your stay exceeds your expectations! I’ve stayed a half dozen times and always try out a different suite—all with their own fun twist in decor but the same reliable comfort. Highly recommend.

This was our second stay at Hotel No Vacancy, and once again, it did not disappoint. We had to adjust our dates twice due to family conflicts, and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating—friendly, flexible, and genuinely eager to help us make it work. The hotel itself is stunning, with a gorgeous bohemian–meets–mid-century modern vibe. Communication before check-in was excellent, and management made sure everything about our stay felt easy and enjoyable. There is a bit of noise from the cocktail bar on the first floor, but it’s more of a lively ambiance than a disturbance—and honestly, Le Lounge is worth it. It’s beautiful, moody, luxurious, and one of the highlights of the property. We love the Crossroads neighborhood, we’ve recommended Hotel No Vacancy to friends, and we will absolutely be back again.

We stayed at Hotel No Vacancy for our anniversary and loved it! The rooms are super cute, unique, and have a fun vintage vibe. We stayed in Studio 8, which was quiet and cozy. There’s a public hang out area AND an outdoor courtyard outside of studio 8 which would be fun to gather friends. It was a bit too cold to enjoy the courtyard this time, but we’ll definitely be back when it’s warmer! We also spent some time at Le Lounge on the first floor and loved how easy it was to walk to nearby bars and restaurants. The whole experience was seamless with their no-contact check-in, we never had to interact with staff, which made everything super easy and convenient. We appreciate the transparency about noise from the bar or public areas at night. However, it was very quiet for us in Studio 8 and we did not hear anything. Highly recommend for a stylish and laid-back stay!

Loved staying here for the weekend! The rooms were beautiful and the beds were seriously the coziest ever. I had to work a bit too so was extra grateful for the fast WiFi. Definitely the spot to book for aesthetic, comfort, and location! Lots of cute shops nearby.

Exquisite. Truly a one of a kind, beautiful place to stay. Great text communication from the friendly/supportive staff. Studio 6 was a dream! No TV in the room which I loved. And the shared spaces are so cute. So many awesome things in walking distance, including the railcar! It was my first time in Kansas City & staying here made it super special.

I had such a wonderful stay here! I was traveling for work and thought I’d treat myself to something nice. It was certainly a treat relaxing here after a long day. The vibe was so good. One of the nights there was a fair bit of noise from the bar downstairs, but I personally didn’t mind. The liveliness and fun lulled me to sleep.

Third time visiting for a quick weekend in KC, we’ve loved our stay here every time! It’s private but so fun. The rooms are cozy and cool, the views are lovely. We love hanging out on the rooftop patio especially.
