Motel 6 Killeen, TX

Rooms are very small. Hade to stay a week. Was not ideal at all. The location isn't bad. It's the area. There is some (I don't want to say homeless people) people who linger around outside. They don't bother you. Just kinda wierd that they literally just sit out back. Wouldn't be bothersome however, it's all day and night. With that said if you have around 20 dollars more per night stay somewhere else. Stay here only as a last resort. Beats other similar listed priced hotels. Coffee is trash with no breakfast.

A bang for the buck!!! I lodged in this hotel on 1/4/20 and was pleased. The room was clean and updated. The bed was comfortable...A bit low off of the floor, but comfortable. My room was near the elevator, I did not experience any disturbances from the noise level. ||||Excellent location, easy access to stores, restaurants, etc. The front desk personnel, professional and accommodating. Experienced some noise from traffic on the interstate, but the rate compensated for that minor discomfort.

Rooms are surface clean, but everything has an odd smell. A/C did work but loud. You could hear every door slam, knock, and yelling on the floor. Pillows were old and outdated and super lumpy. Sheets were crappy. Cheap but will not stay again. Pay the extra $50 to $75 to stay somewhere else. Also, it's like sleeping in daylight because the building is lit up like a stadium and has no blackout curtains.

I wont be staying at this location again. The room itself was nice, the halls were quiet and the staff is friendly and helpful. I would not recommend going outside after dark due to the homeless population that gathers around, and other people that just hang around. I was walking my dog at 6 a.m. and was approached by a woman that said if I understand property lines then I better not cross it unless I wanted to see the gun she just bought. Had her hand inside her fanny pack. BTW, she was hanging around the side door of this motel. I am sure their security cameras can see the woman approach me. I reported it to the front desk, packed my things, and left.

The whole hotel smells of weed and cigarette smoke. People are running up and down the halls at night, partying, and the front desk does not care when you tell them about it. Definitely would not recommend this place.

My room was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff were professional, polite and helpful.
