Maison Mouton Bed & Breakfast

Staff is exceptional!! The rooms were super clean and comfortable. Instant hot water, comfortable beds and couch, plus a rocking chair! Breakfast is served with elegance and full of Louisiana charm. Homemade biscuits that melt in your mouth, and my favorite - sausage gravy and eggs, with a more than generous portion. I would 100% recommend this treasure to anyone seeking a comfortable spot to unwind and take in what Louisiana has to offer. On a personal note, my wife and I stayed for a single night and drove 2 hours the next day to New Orleans airport for our flight home. Later that night it was confirmed that our flight had been canceled. Well, my wife and I enjoyed Maison Mouton so much that we decided to take an extra 2 hours to go back for just for that one night. The staff, the rooms, the food, and the ambience were just that good. Thank you to the staff for such an amazing experience in such a short time. They didn't take

We had a wonderful time stayin' at Maison Mouton! By far the best part is the communal breakfast which is served family style on a long table so you can chat with all the other guests from around the world. It is authentic homemade Cajun Breakfast, so treat yourself to that! Our special thanks go to the entire team that made our stay so pleasant!

My 2 sons, my sister and I had a wonderful stay at the Maison Mouton Bed and Breakfast! Nice clean rooms with SUCH COMFORTABLE beds! We stayed in the Cypress suite and I slept like an absolute dream on the king bed! The staff was so friendly and accommodating! The main house and the grounds are absolutely beautiful! I will DEFINITELY be staying here again!

This charming off the main drag, B&B was perfect! Right as you pull in you’ll see a lovely main house on the right and other rooms and the cabin on the left. A cute circle driveway with plenty of parking available. We stayed in the Cypress suite and for sure will be back! It was great for the 4 of us. With a cute claw tub/shower in the bathroom. A seating area right when you walk in to the room. A rather large mini fridge and coffee bar. We missed the breakfast this time but hopefully will be back to try it!

Maison Mouton is a beautiful place with even more lovely people making you feel home on your travels. The rooms was clean, the whole are of the Bed ans Breakfast lovely, the breakfast so tasty with a lot of homemade food and the staff very friendly and nice. The stay was even better than i read in the reviews before.

Our stay at Maison Mouton was brief and delightful. The location is in the older, more central part of Lafayette, and quite safe. It has a relaxing outside garden with massive historic oak trees for shade. Parking was off-street, free, and a short distance to the door of our cottage. The room was clean, comfortable, with very nice historical furnishings and modern amenities. The staff was friendly, and demonstrated that they really cared about us. The breakfast the morning we left was delicious and personally served to each guest; not a buffet where the eggs are overcooked and the pancakes are hardened. If ever we are back in Lafayette we will definitely try to stay there again.

We fell in love with this beautiful historical bed and breakfast destination. Everything was exceptional from the rooms to the food and the informative, friendly staff who only wanted to share everything they had to offer. I’m a flight attendant who stays in a lot of nice hotels and believe me when tell you how plush towels were, to the most soft sheets you could snug into. Even the cream that smelled like magnolia’s was top notch down to the TP being so soft! Most of all we really enjoyed stepping back into the history of the sugar cane Plantation
