Kins Hotel has a rating of 4.4 out of 5 based on over 65 reviews on Google
The stay was awesome. This is a newly built hotel, so everything is still very new and clean. The room and bathroom were spotless, and the service was great throughout our stay. The location is very convenient, with many restaurants nearby. I also appreciated the $45 valet parking, especially since many hotels charge $65 or more. The gym had basic equipment, which was perfectly fine for me. The only thing I would recommend is toning down the scent in the lobby. It smells very nice, but it might be a bit strong for people with sensitive noses. I will definitely come back and recommend this hotel to my friends.
Polite & Constructive Feedback I’m spend 3 day 2 nights over 500$ I would like to kindly share some feedback regarding my recent stay, in the hope that it may be helpful for future improvements. • Room door issue: The room door did not close properly and could not be locked. I had to double-check each time to ensure it was fully closed, which raised concerns regarding both convenience and security. This is quite a serious issue, especially for guest safety. • Service experience: The reception staff was very friendly and helpful, which I truly appreciated. However, during my three-day stay, the bellboy did not assist with opening the door or carrying luggage. • Lighting controls: There are no bedside light controls, so the main lights must be switched off manually. While this is a small detail, it affects comfort, particularly at night. • Television: I would like to note that the television in my room is a standard model and does not support streaming services such as Netflix or YouTube. • Internet speed: The Wi-Fi connection was quite slow and could be improved. Hotel Recommendation: For improved guest safety and privacy, I would recommend restricting access to guest room floors by using a key-card system in the elevators. Overall, I believe these improvements would significantly enhance the guest experience. Thank you for taking the time to consider this feedback.
The Kins Hotel was a fantastic find! The price was fair, the location perfect for our needs, and the service was outstanding. In particular, shout out for the parking attendants. Courteous and attentive. The room itself was also nice. We had one of the smaller rooms, but it was large enough for our short, two-night stay since we really only needed it to sleep and prep for our days. The only downside, and I must say it's potentially a pretty terrible downside, was the water pressure in the shower. It was absolutely HORRENDOUS! Unless the water was straight cold, and it was January so the cold water was COLD, the pressure became so low that it was literally trickling out of the showerhead. It was so bad, that it became difficult to actually rinse the soap from my skin let alone my hair. It was so tedious, that I opted to skip on a shower the following day to avoid the hassle. We mentioned it to the front desk, but nothing was repaired during our stay. Now we were there only two nights, so it really wasn't a deal breaker for us considering all the other positives, and it certainly could have been an anomaly to just that room, but there you have it. Assuming it was just a one off, the place is great otherwise. Highly recommended.
Absolutely fantastic stay at Kins Hotel. Hidden gem in the midst of 6th St, Koreatown, the location is extraordinary and walkable to essentially all facets of travel must haves. The customer service here was genuine, pleasant, and we loved the generous wine given on Friday 4-5PM. Lots of great recs from the owners and they were extremely friendly. It's apparent there was a ton of thought put into the renovations and effort that is being put forward into this location. I got my 5X points since they partner with AMEX and it sweetened the deal further. Valet parking was easy, accessible, and accommodating ($45/night). We only stayed here one night but the bed was great, restful, relaxing comforter; and more importantly, everything is so fresh and so clean (a must when I travel). The lobby looks the same and smelled good as hell. Everything is insulated well and was a quiet and comfy stay (not a big chain hotel). Overall, I can't wait to stay here again and explore more of LA. Excellent stay.
I had a very nice stay at the Kins Hotel. It recently opened, so everything was clean, tidy and organized. There were bunches of beautiful orchid plants placed around the lobby which created a very colorful and inviting atmosphere. The service was excellent and the staff very friendly, courteous and professional. The location is also amazing. It's in the middle of Koreatown so there are all sorts of cafes, restaurants and coffee shops located just outside the front door and in either direction from the hotel. Although my room was very comfortable and clean, it was located at eye level with the outside patio (keep in mind that the restaurant/bar and patio deck are not completed yet). There was a fern plant up against the outside window to keep people from looking in, but it was very uncomfortable. This was especially true on Saturday when a work crew of about 4 guys descended on the patio with tools and measuring tapes. Their presence lasted about 2 hours, but it was, as I said, uncomfortable and I had to keep my blackout drapes shut until they left. When I arrived the day before, I had asked to be moved to a different room, but unfortunately no other room was available with a standard king bed (I had previously asked for a top floor). This is just something to consider when booking. I informed the staff about this at checkout. Otherwise, I really enjoyed my stay!!
I am a frequent visitor to Los Angeles and usually stay at Hotel Normandie whenever I am in Koreatown. It has been my go to hotel for years. During this trip, I happened to walk past Kins Hotel and it immediately caught my attention because it looked modern and brand new. When my flight was delayed due to inclement weather, I decided to give it a try. For the price range, there are several areas where the hotel could improve. The first issue was the 35 dollar early check in fee. In my years of traveling, I have never been charged extra to check in early at hotels such as Normandie, Westin, Hyatt, or Hilton when a room was available. At this price point, I expected more flexibility, but early check in required payment regardless of availability. Another major concern was the water pressure. I stayed on the fourth floor, which was the top floor, but regardless, it was the weakest water pressure I have experienced in over 10+ years of traveling. This alone made me reconsider staying here again, and I truly hope the hotel addresses this issue. I was also surprised that the TVs did not offer Netflix or other streaming options, which I would normally expect from a newer hotel in this price range. That said, I understand the hotel is still fairly new and the restaurant and bar inside are not open yet as well. I will try this hotel one more time once everything is fully operational and update my review then. However, when compared to the level of service I consistently receive at Hotel Normandie, Kins Hotel still has a long way to go. I do applaud the staff at the front desk, as they were very respectful and friendly throughout my stay.
Kins Hotel is a newly opened hotel ideally located in LA Koreatown, offering convenient access to numerous shops, restaurants, and major areas throughout Los Angeles. Its strategic location makes it an excellent choice for both leisure and business travelers. Upon arrival, we were immediately impressed by the pleasant, signature scent at the reception, which creates a warm and inviting first impression. This thoughtful detail reflects the hotel’s attention to guest experience from the moment you step inside. The level of customer service throughout our stay was outstanding. James at the Front Desk went above and beyond by coordinating our request for an accessible room prior to arrival and generously providing a complimentary upgrade to a king suite. He was consistently kind, proactive, and highly efficient. The rest of the Front Desk team—Winnie, Mia, and Ulysses—were equally attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. Housekeeping service deserves special recognition, particularly Aracelli, who consistently ensured our room was impeccably clean and beautifully arranged each day. After long, full days exploring Los Angeles, it was always a pleasure to return to a spotless, refreshed room that felt truly cared for. Aracelli’s attention to detail, consistency, and pride in her work did not go unnoticed and significantly enhanced our overall comfort and experience. She is a true asset to the hotel and absolutely deserves recognition for her excellent service. During our week-long stay, we encountered a minor bathroom power outlet issue, which was resolved immediately by Roy, the Maintenance in-charge, who handled the situation with efficiency and genuine courtesy. Kevin, the manager, was also very professional and accommodating, thoughtfully addressing our room requests and suggestions, including providing an extra sofa and bedside light, which greatly enhanced our comfort. The room itself was spacious, well-appointed, and comfortable, clearly reflecting the hotel’s commitment to quality and attention to detail. Combined with exceptional service, a welcoming ambiance, and a prime location, Kins Hotel exceeded our expectations. We look forward to returning and hope to enjoy the restaurant once it opens.
