The Anderson Estates

Huge fan! Stayed here twice already for about a week each and will be coming back two more times before my project is done. There is a hostel cat roaming the property so if you like cats, pick her up a treat bag and you won’t be sorry! Laundry is free, I was able to find parking within yards of the property. WiFi can be spotty. Best in guest house. Towels are amazing. I was moved a couple times but they apologized and put me in a room with one other person. Kitchen is great. People are friendly. Got free food twice here for dinner! I’ve already recommended this hostel to my friends who are visiting LA over the summer. Very home feel to it. No lockers, doors are open 24/7 but after 2 weeks of being there, I just learned to have locked luggage and take valuables with me. Never had a problem with security.

Great hostel to stay in Los Angeles ! The staff is very friendly, the house is amazing, everything was clean and comfy. They have a cleaning team working everyday. They offer a great breakfast every morning ! The owner is taking good care of all his guests and pays attention that everything is perfect. Great feeling here. Cool location with the metro nearby. Would stay again !

Some woman that helps with showing people the facility and their rooms got a bad attitude with me a few days after giving me a blanket. She got mad over my putting her clothes in a safer spot while I checked out the dryer. She acted nice then mean after a few days. I don't like being around 2-faced people. Plus, the owner wouldn't let me extend my stay after the incident with her, a woman (always the case ─ it seems women have too much clout).

Great place to stay if you're going to the stadium, we will definitely be back. Had a great experience, we even met Mr. Anderson himself! We slept in the 10 bed room and everyone was quiet and respectful considering we we're all in L.A. for separate rock concerts. We got to use the pool late at night, breakfast was decent and they let us sleep past the stated check out time. Mansion Kitty.

The Anderson estates is a great place to stay. Location is close to pretty much everything we wanted to do on our trip and it was just walking distance to the train. Everyone at the hostel was very friendly and welcoming. Everything was clean and very well out together and they even had a pool, which was much needed for this LA heat. They have breakfast every morning which is also a plus. Overall, my experience at The Anderson Estates was great and I would recommend this hostel to anyone looking to visit LA.

I had never stayed at a hostel, i only knew what a hostel was from watching the movie Hostel. Eroz did a great job explaining everything and was very accommodating, Lisa was very nice as well. They have free breakfast from 8-10am every morning consisting of pancakes, oatmeal, burritos, fruit salad, juice, coffee!! It was great. Hey if you have toddlers or a family, maybe this wouldn't be the best place, but if you are coming to LA to have a great time with affordable stay, this place is perfect. 2 thumbs up from me!!

The Anderson Estates is a great place to stay. They have some really nice and friendly people working there and the free breakfast is great! I accidentally put my hand through a window whilst I was there and they were so kind and understanding about it and even brought out a first aid kit to fix up my scratches. They also managed to fix and replace the window within a few hours! Their facilities are great and the rooms are well maintained and clean. Towels and extra blankets are provided on request. I thoroughly recommend this place! Thankyou for having us.
