Cotton Court, Valencia Hotel Collection

Spent a couple days in Lubbock, TX. The Cotton Court Hotel was the only redeeming quality we found in Lubbock so we spent all of our time there. ||The courtyard was very well kept. There’s lots of vignettes of seating areas with fire pits. Multiple green spaces which made traveling with our Westie enjoyable. Fountains, trees, whimsical lighting all contributed to a lovely couple days stay. ||The outdoor pool was well maintained and offered multiple seating options in and out of the sun.||Our room was clean and welcoming like staying at a friend’s home. ||We decided to join the Valencia members program after staying at the Cotton Court and look forward to visiting their other properties in the future.

We stayed at the Cotton Court for a wedding in Ropesville. My husband and I were SO impressed with the hotel in every regard. The staff was so accommodating, personable, and friendly. The restaurant and bar awesome too. Beds were super comfortable. The mini wet bar and snack bar came in handy in the room. The only thing we wished we had was a microwave in the room. Other than that, an unparalleled hospitality experience! We will be looking for Valencia Hotels everywhere else we go now. Thanks for a great stay!

The cotton court was a 5 star experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, the food was solid, and the atmosphere was top notch. When disaster struck of our room losing hot water while we had a fussy, sick baby the staff went above and beyond to reaccomandate us. They even gave us a voucher for a free dinner. I would definitely stay there again.

Great location. Very clean. Cool vintage fridge. I like that they give you water and BEER upon arrival. The downside is we booked a room for 3 adults. The room they gave us was for 2 adults and a small child. My 6’3" son could NOT fit on the tiny sofa (that didn’t even pull out into a sofa bed). So beware if you need a room for 3 adults!

I've been coming back to Lubbock ever since I graduated from Texas Tech many years ago, and this is by far the best hotel experience I've had in the city. The building and space is very cool without being forced, and our room was large and full of character. Add that to the fact that I could walk to my favorite coffee shop in the city... 10's across the board. Lubbock is lucky to finally have a hotel option like this.

Very nice hotel. Lots of character.great rooms. Really cool courtyard with open fire pits and hammocks. Sometimes even live music. No breakfast included. They do give you an $18 dollar credit each day for dining. Gratuity is included and or has room service fee which was eats up the $18 in a hurry. Also has a fairly nice restaurant attached with a fun menu. Charcuterie was good. Flatbread pizzas were good. Pork belly sliders are very hard to eat, was pretty tough and served also on very crispy bread. Very complicated process to order room service from the attached restaurant. Customer service was great. Expect to have a VERY expensive hold on your credit or debit card that adds up each day of your stay and lasts up to 4 days or more.

Staying in Room 210. Someone is smoking in their room down the hall. AC vibrates and sounds like it is dying loudly each time it shuts off. Bathroom sink pools when using just a small amount of water. Showerhead sprays in every direction but straight. Shower shoes are a must. Bed is comfy, sheets are clean, and room is well designed, it just hasn't been maintained well. I just wish I could have gotten some sleep.
