Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Madison South

Rooms were recently remodeled, within the last year. Fresh and clean lobby. Pool was sufficient for my daughter’s use. Good location downtown. Complimentary breakfast was okay, noticed that some pastry items have been left out too long, a little hard. Overall, good experience for a one nights stay.

Stay was quick, so we didn't check out many amenities... Tracy at the front desk was PHENOMENAL. Authentic, kind, personable. True hospitality. Nice little breakfast, room did the trick. Very odd that there is a light switch inside the door that does nothing though.... The lack of lighting in the room was peculiar...

Willy the bartender could really use some customer services skills. Thought maybe he was just in a mood, but everyone I'm back he is so rude! Would rather drink in my hotel room than deal with his crappy personality.

I had a great stay at this hotel! It’s located in a quiet, secluded area away from the highway, so there was no traffic noise, and I couldn’t hear anything from the nearby rooms — very peaceful. Alexa from the housekeeping team went above and beyond and truly exceeded my expectations with her service! There were a couple of small downsides: the blackout curtains didn’t fully cover the windows, which let in some light, and the breakfast was a bit underwhelming. Still, overall, I would definitely recommend staying here, especially if you’re looking for a quiet and comfortable place to relax.

Hotel parking was under construction, so finding the place or getting cab was tough. Staff was super helpful and courteous. Room was okay for 1 night stay.

I definitely recommend this hotel. The lady who served us yesterday was very kind. I think her name is Michell, if I'm not mistaken. The room was super clean, and the bed made me feel right at home. I slept well and rested very well. This morning they served a delicious breakfast. The area was very pleasant and clean. The staff was very friendly.

I am a loyal, frequent Marriott customer that never feels the need to comment on rooms/hotels but unfortunately I need to for this location. The hotel staff is rude and is always sitting down in the corner. I walked in and said hello to three hotel workers and they just looked at me. The rooms have NO light making it hard to see! I thought this was supposed to be a new hotel but my comforter had black marks on it. The breakfast is just like every other Fairfield but coffee was actually awful. Again, I stay at Marriotts every week and see it all, but this was disappointing.
