Wow! Coming from Chicago, the Pfister reminds me of a mini Palmer House. The lobby is stunning. Heather at the front desk was wonderful and found us a beautiful room in the historic part of the hotel. We wandered with our check in champagne, looking at all of the items and decor. The pool was lovely for a quick swim, we walked, even in the flurries to the Public Market for dinner, then up to Blu for live Jazz. Slept comfy in our quiet room that seemed to have all of the extra touches like soft close nightstand drawers and motion sensor lighting at our feet. Check out was easy too. We will definitely be back.

Positive: Kind and friendly staff, beautiful room and view of lake/city, wonderfully appointed throughout the entire hotel—loved the artwork and chatting with the artist in residence Negative: Blu—loud, poorly staffed, poor quality appetizers; did not feel like it was even part of this otherwise beautiful, charming, and classic hotel. View however was spectacular!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Pfister Hotel is truly one of Milwaukee’s gems. Opened in 1893, it has such a rich history and timeless elegance that you can feel the moment you step inside. The architecture and grand lobby are absolutely stunning, and the entire hotel blends historic charm with modern comfort beautifully. Blu Bar on the 23rd floor is the highlight for me. The panoramic views of downtown Milwaukee and Lake Michigan are breathtaking — especially at sunset. The atmosphere is upscale but still relaxed, with comfortable seating and a great vibe for a date night, girls’ night, or a classy night out. The cocktails are well crafted and the service is friendly and attentive. One thing to note: Blu Bar no longer accepts cash, so be sure to bring a card for payment. Whether you’re staying at the hotel or just visiting for drinks, Blu alone makes The Pfister worth the trip. Such a special experience in the heart of Milwaukee.

Coolest hotel in Milwaukee! So much history in that place. The 23rd floor bar was really nice. The lobby bar is pretty small but has a decent selection. Rooms were really nice but didn't realize you couldn't turn the AC on so the room stayed at 75 degrees the first night. Spoke to receptionist and they said just turn it off and it will cool down. That worked great for our second night. Had breakfast in the hotel one morning and it was very good. Staff were very attentive. Had dinner at Mason Street grill. It was Valentine's Day so it was packed but they kept up and the food was excellent and service was superior.

This hotel is Devine! The artwork alone is breathtaking! But the staff, man the staff was way beyond professional, courteous, and delightful. Shout out to Jordan in the restaurant! And major shout out to the Spa (Wells Spa)(?). Joyce, Carla and Lavinia were our nail techs. They did a wonderful job! I forgot the names of our massage therapists, but I got the stone treatment and just melted away all of my tension. Major love to Cierra our makeup specialist! She was perfect in giving me and my bestie great looks for our event! Our view from the 20th floor was awesome with a view of the lake. Thank you all for making my visit a memorable one!

We were in town for a company party nearby. We had our Kids with us and the front desk staff was amazing… champagne at check in! we stayed in the suite on the 2nd floor with the wonderful lobby piano in the background we enjoyed our champagne at the tables in the hall. Our room was painted so nice keeping the modern color scheme and style with the old world trim and quality. The bed was so comfortable and the snow falling out the window on Jefferson st. Picturesque! The kids loved the club lounge amazing views. We got to peek in the imperial ballroom while they were setting up… stunning!

We had a wonderful weekend here with our two young boys. They loved the pool and ice cream delivered to the room. The staff was excellent, professional, attentive and responsive. The food, breakfast and lunch, in the café was very good. The location is ideal. We walked to the Childrens Museum, 3rd St Market Hall and The Safehouse. They are dog friendly and the staff really makes your 4 legged friends feel welcome too. We will definitely be back!
