Hotel Indigo Naperville Riverwalk by IHG

We have been visiting this Hotel Indigo since they opened nine years ago. It is in the best location for visiting Naperville as it is downtown near restaurants and is directly adjacent to the Riverwalk. We enjoy parking our car in the attached garage and then just spending a couple days walking around the downtown eating and shopping. The hotel staff are consistently professional and many have been with the hotel for a number of years. The bathrooms in the rooms are beautiful and spacious. We appreciate the comfy beds and the phenomenal pillows. We are grateful to have the Indigo as our home away from home when we visit Naperville.

This hotel is in the very best location for visiting Naperville. You are immediately on the riverwalk by a ton of restaurants and they actually have a nice venue on the top floor as well. There is a great view of the park from there and it's a short walk right next to the hotel. ||There is a ton of parking in the garage for hotel guests which is excellent since parking can be tricky in downtown Naperville. ||I was very happy with the size of the room and all the staff were helpful throughout our stay. If you are coming to Naperville for a weekend or an event definitely this is your best choice.

The Indigo hotel is definitely my go to place when I’m here in Naperville. From their front desk staff to the ladies in the restaurant it’s a win-win place for me. I enjoy the fact that they’re very welcoming when you first check in no matter what time it is. The lounge/bar area is warm and inviting and great for a nightcap. The morning breakfast served by Taylor and Sheri are a great start for my day. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great experience in Naperville.

Overall a nice hotel. The work event my wife and I went for was catered well and the staff was friendly. The location is right by a Walgreens, the river walk, as well as several restaurants and coffee shops. Great for if you forget a toothbrush or something minor. The coffee shops nearby are necessary because this picture does not capture the smell of the mold that was festering inside the in room coffee maker. My only other complaint is even with every light on and it still being light outside you can see the room is dimly lit, which isn't necessarily a deal breaker unless you are already visually impaired. *picture from the sky bridge is late at night is naturally dark*

I stay at this hotel every month… for one week… I have choices but choose this hotel always! Sometimes cheaper options…savings no worth it at other places… still choose Indigo Naperville as it is highest quality and best all around. The executive management, front desk staff, bar/breakfast staff are all excellent and could not be any better!!! BTW the location, the parking, the discount on restaurants nearby (all walking distance) are additional benefits!

It is rare in my travels that I feel the staff actually enjoys working at the hotels I stay at. EVERYONE was a pleasure to speak with, and they all seemed to have a sense of pride in the work that they did. I asked for dining recommendations in the area, all were close, most walkable. I went to three different restaurants based on feedback from 2 staff members. They were great and exactly what I expected based on the information they gave me. Rooms were spotless and spacious. The bathroom looked like it was never used! I will definitely recommend this hotel to my coworkers and clients. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We’ve enjoyed complimentary upgrades when available, a delicious daily breakfast (a $50 value), and points that can be used for free nights at IHG properties. We even used our points for a long weekend stay at The Journeyman Hotel in Milwaukee, which was wonderful as well. Additional perks like the Riverwalk Amenity Card — offering discounts and complimentary items at many excellent local restaurants and shops — are a thoughtful bonus. Lastly, the downtown Naperville location is second to none. Everything is within walking distance, and the historic Riverwalk is pure joy to walk along — especially in the fall. Hotel Indigo Naperville isn’t just a hotel. It’s a place of warmth, care, and consistency — and for us, it will always hold a very special place in our hearts.
