Millennium Hotel Maxwell House Nashville

If I could give 0 I would!! Do NOT recommend!! This hotel needs serious renovations! The cleaning staff need re-trained! There was dust built up all over ceiling, didnt look like it had seen a vaccum. Then the "breakfast" was a joke!! Ordered the New York strip in the restraunt and it tasted ruined or freezer burned. The bartender was very polite and compt it but then had to just order door dash because it was too late by this point to go out. The ladies in the gift shop were the BEST and so sweet! But I could go on and on with issues with this hotel! Don't waste your time there's a super 8 somewhere that is better upkept I'm sure!!

Overall, staying at the Millennium Maxwell House was acceptable. The room was clean and spacious. The hotel is just dated. The staff was friendly but not overly helpful. The shower in my room did not drain and was not fixed while I was there - even though I told the front desk. Would I stay here again? Probably - it’s cheap and far enough away from the chaos of downtown but close enough to get back and forth easily. But I’d keep in mind - you get what you pay for.

We have stayed at the Millennium twice during visits to Nashville. Though it's a bit outdated and the rooms are on the smaller side, you cannot beat the price. Very clean and comfortable, pet-friendly (really friendly with lots of grass space to walk). The bus to/from Broadway is great! for just a tip to the driver, you get great drop-off and pickup that saves time and money! We can't wait to come back!

I experienced a complete power outage on January 25th and had to make a reservation for this highly recommended hotel. Although the lines were literally extremely long Rebecca and Jennifer at the front desk preserved and got My family and I and plenty of others needing shelter to our rooms. I was in awe at Rebecca and Jennifer for being patient, knowledgeable and polite. Both of these ladies took a stressful and unexpected occurrence and made it delightful. Thank you both!!!! I'm also going to mention another staff member Whom is Sara. She is the night manager and her smile and helpfulness is Awesome.

Staff was kind and accommodating. The inside and the actual hotel stay was gross. Check in took over an hour (this was because of the ice storm and the surplus of people I know), but by the time I made it to the desk my room was not ready (I made a reservation over the phone, and confirmed check in time multiple times). So I then had to beg for them to put me wherever was ready. Once in the room, things were fine as they could be. But then as I got ready for bed I noticed none of the free outlets worked. Which was strange. So I called the desk, no one could come help me and their only suggestion was to either wait until the morning (when I was checking out lol) or to "turn on a light switch" to see if that powered the outlets (???) Obviously that didn’t work and I was not about to remain in the lobby even longer; so I fled the space I initially came to evacuate. You guys are overcharging folks and can’t even keep reliable amenities for people in crisis or emergency evacuations. Yall just go to a Hilton. They won’t help you here.

I wouldn’t call this a 4 star hotel. We’ve been staying here every trip to Nashville and it’s definitely been run down. The bathrooms are definitely in need of maintenance and updating and the rooms could be freshened up as well. The price reflects the room quality though. Can’t find anything near down for this cheap so it’s still decent for the money

My husband and I went to Nashville for the first time and we decided on this hotel for our 26th Anniversary. As a hotel critic I did a lot of research and paid attention to a lot of reviews and was very skeptical. I decided to take the risk and try the hotel out anyway. The staff was nice and extra accommodating, especially with me Being disabled. Our room once we got there did not have a view except of the pool and we were able to switch rooms to the city view side and was very pleased. They were also very accommodating with cake in our room for our anniversary. We stayed for four days and had a wonderful time . The only thing they really needed help with was their breakfast. You didn’t have any meat on the breakfast buffet only waffles and the eggs weren’t even being replaced once emptied fast enough. Another thing that needed attention was the coffee in the lobby needing to be replaced, especially when it was a Maxwell house hotel. Live band in house was a great touch on weekends and the shuttle bus that took us from the hotel to Broadway Street and back for all the activities was a definite plus. We will definitely do this hotel again and recommend .
