Omni New Haven Hotel at Yale

As an Omni member, I always enjoy my stays. However this stay was even more exceptional due to the excellent customer service I received. Janaysia Stanley was truly amazing! From her inviting spirit, efficient workflow, and expertise, she made my booking process seamless and made me feel comfortable that I’d have an unforgettable stay. Thanks Janaysia for all your help!

We went there for a kids dance competition. In real estate they say location location location. Omni got location!! Nice very hotel! Interior brings you back to 80s. Lots of people walking around the hotel. Millions of college kids were having a great time during the weekend hopping bars. One day they will make New Haven Great again!

Positive: Very nice, clean, close to Yale. Negative: The area around the hotel did not feel very safe. There were several homeless people, and groups of men smoking and standing in front of local buildings.

Im not sure where to start. They over charge for parking, they over charge for WIFI. They have a very expensive resturant. No bell hops. No vending machines. No luggage carts. If you want a soda you have to go to the scary mini mart across the street. No room service. Homeless people begging in the lobby. Homeless people begging outside the hotel. Ive been to a million hotels and this hotel is very BASIC. Its a building with rooms to sleep in. Ive never seen a hotel lacking so many amenities. The staff was really nice. Checking in was easy. Over priced nothing. Find a different hotel. Seriously.

Decent hotel with great view of New Haven from the restaurant. Rooms are clean and comfy. The breakfast buffet was very average and the noise from the people going to the club across the street was horrible and lasted all of Saturday night. Woe to the guest that has a room facing that street.

Staff are really nice and the hotel had champagne and chocolate covered strawberries in the lobby for guests for Valentines Day, spa also had great service and nice staff. BUT many people have commented on the noise issues at night…and it’s actually really really bad. I’m not able to sleep because the windows have no insulation and you can hear everything from the street (especially Temple street with all the bars and clubs) Really hope it gets quieter when the clubs close at 2am so I can fall asleep…😢 management should repair windows here/sound issues. I would NOT recommend staying here unfortunately because of how bad the noise problem…really ruined what could’ve been a nice experience here

I've attended several events at the Omni. This was our second time at the Herman Ham's All Black Affair. Typical ballroom space with a large dance floor and ample room for the VIP sections. Drinks are meh. Overall nice space.
