Edge Hotel

My coworkers and I stay at the Edge Hotel NYC regularly for work trips, and it’s consistently a wonderful experience. Every visit, the front desk staff is incredibly welcoming and kind, always remembering us by name. Thank you to Dominic and the rest of the team for making every stay feel so warm and personal. The rooms are always spotless, comfortable, and well maintained. We’ve never had a single complaint. The location is also perfect for anyone visiting Columbia Medical Center since it’s just a short walk away. Highly recommend the Edge Hotel!

By far the best hotel I’ve stayed at in NYC with everything considered. Rooms were more spacious than those in lower manhattan and significantly cheaper. Everything was clean. Staff was extremely friendly. Lots of food and shops near by and the 1 train a block away. I will definitely be staying here next time I’m in town.

I’m a local resident who had to get a hotel for 2 nights due to not having power suddenly on Christmas. I was able to get a room short notice at an affordable price, and my stay was really great and comfortable for me and my 1 year old. The staff were so kind and accommodating through out my whole stay. They brought my food delivery’s up to my room while my child was sleeping and also brought me a mini fridge so I could store milk during my stay. They also offer pack and plays to use as a portable crib along with bedding. My room was clean and comfortable with a nice view. It’s close to the train and there are lots of different places to eat nearby. I would definetely stay here again if needed and also will recommend to family and friends visiting me in the future! Great location and the staff is very friendly which is unusual in New York these days! Price was ok for Thanksgiving weekend & I never expect big hotel rooms in NYC - so this hotel delivered just what I expected! The location is very close to subway which is a great way to get around. The bedroom and bath were clean, but the decor blanket was not - they replaced it immediately. Also had issue with a TV that only had select channels, and the WiFi kept kicking me out - so Edge could use a Tech upgrade there. If guests have to spend some time at the hotel these things become important. Also agree about other reviews about the thermostat - if they upgraded them to digital it would create energy savings as mine kept turning itself on & off. Bonus points for having windows that opened - always appreciate that no matter the weather! And the view! Really nice touch.

Cute little find in Washington Heights. We stayed here because it is walking distance from the Nike Armory where my daughter competed. Small hotel, boutique-ish. There is a gym and lounge downstairs, no pool. The staff is very attentive and accommodating. Luis held our bags until check-in so we could roam the city. It's not too far from places to eat and hang--Fort Washington Public house is a local bar that is cool; pizza places, deli, bodegas, Starbucks etc are in walking distance or offer delivery--ON BIKES, but still you can get it! The room was small, the bathroom too, but I expected this...the most important thing was that it was CLEAN--and it was. You can't beat it for a 3 star hotel.

Very friendly front desk. Coffee and tea in room with water bottles provided. Pretty clean. Has gym and a conference room. Excellent location for business and close to many tourist attractions with restaurants near by and a wonderful fruit and vegetable market around the corner. Perfect for parents visiting their kids attending Columbia College and University. No real lounge so best for events and tourists looking throughout New York City.

Great location for more of a neighborhood feel on our recent vacation- clean room and unexpected lovely skyline view. Plenty of great little restaurants nearby. Nice park and Morris Jumel house nearby which was a great visit. Also close to Met Cloisters which was lovely. Stand out staff - friendly, kind and attentive. Bonus points for hot water availability in the lobby.
