I had such a wonderful stay at MAJ Hotel in Philly! From the moment I arrived, everything felt thoughtful. The design is modern yet cozy, with beautiful details that make the space feel elegant and welcoming at the same time. The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully designed — you can really tell they care about the guest experience. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the atmosphere made it easy to fully relax after exploring the city. A special thank you to Mariia, the front desk agent — she was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive. She made the check-in seamless and truly set the tone for a fantastic stay. Her warm attitude and genuine hospitality made a real difference. The location is another huge plus. The hotel is close to the river, which makes for beautiful walks, and it’s conveniently located near some of Philadelphia’s most iconic attractions, including the Philadelphia Museum of Art. You’re also just a short distance from historic sites like Independence Hall and the charming streets of Old City. It’s the perfect balance of central and peaceful. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Philadelphia who appreciates great design, comfort, and attentive service.

I booked this hotel for a fairly last minute trip to Philly , and it exceeded my expectations. The pictures online are very accurate with clean spaces , modern design, and a simple layout. I had limited interaction with the staff, but the ones I did have were very positive. The room I was in did not have a mini fridge , but there was indication that it was available upon request - I just didn't need one during my stay. I chose to park by the penitentiary, as this was somewhere I wanted to visit on this trip anyway and it was a 6 minute walk from the hotel . The market has a decent selection of snacks that you can purchase 24/7 - this is not charged to your room, instead it has a self checkout which means there is no need for anyone to assist in the transaction. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I will be using it again if I am visiting Old Philadelphia in the future.

I stayed at The Maj Hotel from October 13 to Wednesday, October 15, 2025. The hotel was spotless and the service was excellent. The hotel staff was very helpful, guiding me to get good local food in the area. I was able to get an early check-in with no issue. My room was very nice and open. The location made jt easy to get to everywhere I needed to go in the city. The bed was the most comfortable I'd been in at a hotel for a long time. I would strongly recommend the MAJ to anyone coming to Philly.

Went here to visit Philly for the first time with my boyfriend to celebrate our anniversary and we loved the hotel! The aesthetic is so inviting and intimate. The host at the front desk was very friendly and attentive and we loved how conveniently close it was to the art museum and a lot of the places we wanted to visit. Comfy bed, great view of the city, the best snacks at their little convenience store in the lobby; we’ll definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay at The Maj in Philadelphia! We chose it because it is literally a 5-minute walk from the Philadelphia Museum of Art and close to lovely restaurants, shops, and other attractions. Our room was comfortable, spotless, and nicely appointed. It was bright and cheerful, and we enjoyed lounging there when we weren't gallivanting about Philadelphia. We would give the staff 6 stars out of 5! They were extremely friendly and helpful -- they went the extra mile. Highly recommend this boutique hotel!

I stayed at The Maj Hotel and I was so impressed. It’s super clean, modern, tech-y, and has this cool, stylish vibe without feeling over-the-top or stuffy. You can tell a lot of thought went into the design. The location is awesome—right near the Art Museum and in a great part of the city where you can walk to tons of restaurants, coffee shops, and cute little spots. Perfect mix of city energy and quiet comfort. The staff were all super friendly and welcoming. Check-in was smooth, and everyone I talked to seemed genuinely nice and helpful. I had a couple small requests during my stay (such as calling a taxi) and it was all done quickly. My room was so comfortable—great bed, big shower, and it actually felt cozy (which a lot of hotels don’t pull off). I slept like a baby.
