Mar-Ray Motel

Worse place I have ever slept at. Gave them a deposit of $80 in cash... at the end of my stay they said I never gave any deposit? How is that possible when they demand a deposit to even stay there. Roaches everywhere. Hair all in the bed. bathroom window was shattered.. a door from my room connected to another room had no lock which was sketchy. Horrible service. I do not recommend what so ever. was desperate for a place to rest my head that is the only reason I stayed.

For $40 total per night I have no complaints… At first I was a little worried about the place, but the front desk clerk told me the Police station was across the street and they patrol throughout the day. He also let me view my room before paying which I really liked. Everything worked the heater, hot water, the TV with many movie channels. It’s also close by to Down Town where I found a nice brewery which had great beer and good food. Overall it served my needs for an overnight business stay at a low price.

If you're looking for a cheap, low deposit hotel this is the one. No phone, microwave, or mini fridge. Only a bar of soap and 2 thin extremely small towels are provided in the rooms. All rooms are smoking rooms. There is a soda machine by the office but no ice or vending machine. $100/night with a $20 deposit which they will keep if you check out late or don't return the key and remote.

It is the place to go when you are short on money, don't want to pay a $100 or $200 dep and don't care about the bells and whistles. The Hampton inn and the Ramada are right up the street! I stayed twice with my 2 kids the front desk was very accommodating they let me view a room before I paid. And I was able to get a room in the front of the prop because the 1st review scared the heck outta me,but when your budget is low you take the risk. This risk worked out great for me! We had a good night sleep and I would stay there again.

Nobody go to this hotel at all they have bed bugs all over the bed my gf wake up in the morning w bit all over her arms and face don't stay at the Mar-Ray Motel in Pittsburg California I am so mad pay 140 for a room please don't go here y'all at all

It’s a decent hotel for the price and the service is decent too they have a soda vending machine which is convenient

There are bugs and it's cold the heater didn't work there were holes in the walls that led to the out doors. The toilet clogged and we were made to leave only 2 hours after paying for the night. The towels stink the shower curtain was held up by pvc pipe the carpets stunk and made my socks black, I wouldn't take a rat there. Please DO NOT STAY AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT. THERE WAS NO HOT WATER DIRTY WALLS MUST I GO ON?
