Eastside Lodge

The Eastside Lodge is located in a central location. The room had a new shower. The beds and pillows were nice. The TV and fridge worked well. The staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was free. We would stay there again. We were able to take advantage of restaurants and entertainment nearby.

I was concerned about some of the bad reviews, but this place was great! The room was clean and everything was functional. The frig was having trouble keeping cool because they left the room at 90°F. The outside was clean and tidy too, and it is next door to a kids play place restaurant next door, so the area is not bad at all. Really good price for a place 15 min walk from the convention center.

I didnt expect much besides a clean room. We were put next to house keeping room which is loud all day and door being slammed. Dude starts sweeping at 6am everyday. Couldn't nap during the day it was so loud all day. Not much consideration for guests. Bed was good. But can't really relax when i have you blare your tv to hear it and loud bangs on m off all day. Was dried boogers on towel. Corner of bed sheet was dirty. Otherwise room interior was ok. Feel less rested then when i arrived. Had to sleep with ac on at night to not hear every bang or door shut. Got asked 20 questions to get a roll of t.p. Would not stay again.

To begin with the walls are very thin. We came to Portland to see some shows and this hotel was near the venue and had vehicle parking. We came to sleep but the next room was having an all night party comprised of a room full of people and their voices and conversations were understandable through the walls. We prepaid for 2 days and left after one. The TV did not work. Sound came into the room from the back alley through the air conditioner. I have edited my original review because as we left the day manager offered to refund our money for the second day to Expedia. Added stars for service, was not expecting refund.

I've been here several times. The king room was outfitted nicely and it had all the things you would expect plus a bit more, closet with iron, board, and extra pillow

One of more friendly check ins we've had at this hotel over the years. Spruced up on the outside. Shower still had the original door from Travelodge days. Room was a little dogged. For the price. You get what you get.
