A good hotel with a few drawbacks that make it hard to give a 5-star. The rooms were clean, the shower got hot and had good water pressure, the bed was comfortable and the temperature control in the room worked well. The only things I disliked was the windows and the lack of sound-proofing. The windows specifically have a view of the tent and also the walkway past your room, not great for privacy so the blinds are a must. For a reasonable price, with great location and service I'd be happy to go again when I'm in the area.

Last time I stayed here was 10/10, staff are super professional and this hotel is located in the "rock star" part of Portland, the best vibes and sometimes the best deal in town. As long as Jupiter keeps their rates competitive they will always have our business. Thanks for being awesome!

I cannot even put into words how great my experience was at Jupiter Hotel. The staff were so welcoming and kind. I had requested a quieter room before I arrived and they accommodated me, no problem. My room was indeed quiet and so cute! They upgraded me to a king room and it was just as comfortable as sleeping at home. The cleaning crew does an impeccable job, I don't know if I've ever stayed in a cleaner hotel room. I felt completely safe walking to and from the Moda Center by myself after the concert I was in town for. This was my first time staying in Portland and I can't wait to go back.

Nice boutique hotel. Conveniently located in Eastside Portland. Close to all the bars, coffee shops, and food spots. Rooms were clean and smelled good. Service was excellent. You could call the front desk any time of the the night and someone would answer immediately. Same thing with somebody always being at the front desk of the lobby. Would definitely stay with them again.

At Jupiter Next, the rooms are spacious, nicely laid out and always clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the location, views and amenities awesome. Close to restaurants and a short 20 min walk to downtown for the Saturday Market. Next is my go to hotel whenever I am in Portland and I've stayed there over half a dozen times over the last 5 years.

Clean, hip, easy to check in, convenient location. The rooms have chalk board paint on the doors so you can write a message or leave some art, which is fun.

Our week-long stay at Jupiter Next was fantastic. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful. As a light sleeper, I was initially very concerned about noise, given online reviews mentioning nearby excessively loud bars and the fact that I would be working on my stay. However, I slept perfectly the entire time, perhaps due to choosing a high-floor room (6), as I had researched. The bar below does play loud music, but from my floor I didn't hear it at all. If you are a light sleeper and concerned, I would also suggest securing one of the high level room categories (Next Level X) to be safe.||||The main reason for selecting this property was its excellent proximity to all the great dining spots, which provided a more "local" feel than staying downtown. I was walking distance from several highly awarded restaurants (James Beard) and bars. I also, especially appreciated the unique in-room beverages (like sparkling CBD) and the well-stocked amenities. The downstairs bar was charming and served great drinks. I got to watch them transform from their normal decor into their Christmas theme during my stay in December. Very charming and cute.||||My only critique for this property is the lack of on-site amenities. Specifically, a gym would have been ideal to help burn off the calories consumed at all the nearby foodie spots. I wonder if it would be possible to convert some of the unused space on the second floor for this purpose or space at sister property that could be used? Even just a room with basic gym equipment would go a long way for me. This single amenity gap is the only thing that would make me hesitate to book again. ||||Otherwise, I would recommend this hotel wholeheartedly.
