Portland Eco House

The property was pristine from inside to out. It was a beautiful set up with so much detail put into it. It smells great, the water is hot, the decorations and amenities are such a delight. I worked overnights and during the day I sleep as I travel and the black out curtains were perfect for what I needed. Everything is so well thought out and so much information is at your hands about the area. Scott did a fantastic job hosting, truly went above and beyond out of his way to feel comfortable.

We stayed here over the weekend and absolutely loved it. Scott's place captures the authentic Portland vibe! It’s tucked into a cute neighborhood that feels local and lived-in, not touristy, which made the experience feel more personal and relaxed. The location is walking distance to tons of amazing vegan restaurants, coffee shops, and things to do. Whether you’re into vintage shops, craft beer, or just strolling through leafy streets, it’s all right there. The space itself was clean, thoughtfully decorated, and had just the right touches to make it feel like home. If you're looking for a place that gives you a real taste of Portland without sacrificing comfort or convenience, this is it.

This is an absolute gem of a rental in a great neighborhood in Portland. It is colorful and cozy and clean and safe. There is street parking but you also can walk almost anywhere you need to go. Make sure to take advantage of the beautiful outdoor space. I will definitely try to return!

The Portland Eco House has existed for 8 yrs, though I wasn't aware of it. What a treasure! We stayed 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated the Patio Suite. Everything is immaculate, fresh, colorful with everything you'd need to relax. The owner Scott wants nothing more than for you to enjoy your stay and was very responsive to any needs or questions. Highly recommend everyone to stay here. Great neighborhood close to walkable restaurants, bars and grocery stores. Very Vegan friendly area.

After spending the past 5 nights in the Patio Suite at the Portland Eco House, I can't rate it highly enough! It was wonderful, and very reasonably priced!!! Scott, the owner, has thought of every detail for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. He is also very responsive and kind with any questions. The bed is super comfortable and there's a nice blanket besides the duvet. The bathroom is roomy with a great shower. The small refrigerator has an excellent freezer section with an ice tray. The kitchenette has everything you need to prepare a light meal. The color scheme and decorations are lovely. I felt absolutely comfortable and safe there. It's a great find!

Nice place, nice neighborhood. Lot of vegan restaurants in the vicinity - yes for us Europeans in walking distance. Scott is a great host, that makes you feel at home. Clean place. Good atmosphere. Would go again when visiting Portland (we did not take any pics of the eco house, sorry).

We spent two nights at the patio cottage and had a wonderful time. Not only was the patio cottage in perfect condition, it was exceptionally clean and comfortable and thoughtfully organized with everything you could need. Scott has amazing taste. The neighborhood is a lot of fun. It was also convenient to walk to our favorite vegan restaurants. If you like peace and quiet in an artistic setting with a kitchenette, this is a place for you. Next time we come to Portland, we know where to stay.
