Heights House Hotel

Everything about the hotel was exceptional! We took the train from Charlotte and it was a short walk to hotel. We were greeted with drinks and a history of home tour when we checked in. The staff was always available to help with suggestions of where to eat and what fun things to do. The hotel was beautifully decorated and had several rooms down stairs (library, bar area, living room and dinning room) to enjoy a cocktail with friends, computer work or to read. In the evenings from 4-8 their bar was open; decadent cocktails and some exquisite charcuterie boards. On Friday the had live music. As we were leaving they were setting up for a tea, that looked delicious !! Will have to do that next time. We will definitely come back!!

We live close by and have been meaning to stop in to The Parlour for a cocktail. It did not disappoint! Donny (Donnie?) at the bar was so informative and helpful. The Old Fashioneds were delicious and Donny was super friendly and made me want to go back just to try their espresso martini. Loved the cozy decor and games scattered about, encouraging you to relax and stay. Will definitely be back soon.

We had a wonderful time sipping cocktails and munching on the charcuterie tray. Donnie made delicious cocktails and provided excellent service. Highly recommended for a brief escape from everyday life.

Gorgeous, relaxing room with optimal size and amenities. Small touches with big meaning, a glass of wine at check-in and chocolates on the pillow. On-site bar and comfortable, quiet seating followed by a delicious quiche, coffee, juices, and other delicious eats apart from the perfectly prepped and warm quiche. WOW, that quiche. Even more important, impressive, and noteworthy, the hotel was clean and free of wall to wall carpet that can be undesirable. I could go on about this beautiful, beautifully situated downtown heaven… oh, did I mention there’s parking! It’s the little things that make big things great! They got it! My hat is off to the owners and staff. You did it… you do it right! … Inspired in part by my beautiful fiancé and her/our birthday travel.

We just happened upon Heights House after a cancelled flight, and we were so happy we did! A sister's girls' weekend got extended an extra day and our experience was magical. Mindy at the front desk was charming and funny, and gave us a lovely tour of the home; sharing stories of the home's history and renovation. Everything has been tastefully renovated and it is clean, welcoming, and so comfortable. We enjoyed prosecco on the porch, and walked into Raliegh for dinner/drinks. I am an avid postcard sender, so their custom postcards was my favorite touch and a perfect keepsake to send each other. I would highly recommend HH for your stay and we will happily return again in the future.

I went to a wedding at Heights House in Raleigh, and it was the most beautiful and memorable wedding I have ever been to. It was absolutely stunning. The whole place has had a classic, elegant vibe. The house is beautifully restored, and you can tell how much care went into every little detail. I adore this house and the outdoor area. The setting was perfect, and the location is right in downtown Raleigh, which I also really liked. The space felt intimate but still big enough for everyone. The Heights House is such a beautiful spot for a wedding, honestly, any special event. It’s elegant, peaceful, and full of charm. I think it is definitely the prettiest venue I’ve been to in Raleigh. We were fortunate enough to be invited to stay at the Heights House for a wedding weekend for our friends. The staff was absolutely amazing! The venue and the rooms were beautiful and stocked with everything you would need for a pleasant stay. Thank you Heights House for an amazing weekend!
