Grand Sierra Resort and Casino

Me and my fiance just moved up to Reno 6 months ago and have been coming to the GSR regularly. We finally had the chance to try two different restaurants and they were both extremely delicious with quick and exceptional service. Tonight we decided to try the Grand Cafe and I was completely blown away. Not only did they have a full bar, but the prices were extremely reasonable and the food came out quickly. Our server Alex was amazing and took great care of us. She was super attentive and had amazing hospitality. The pot sticker appetizer was perfectly crunchy and came with a yummy chili sauce I couldn't get enough of. I struggled to pick what I wanted to eat but I ended up picking the chicken pot pie and I'm glad I did. I was worried it was gonna be small and not filling enough but when Alex brought it out I was shocked at the size and extremely pleased. The crust was flakey, buttery, and crunchy with a creamy filling of shredded chicken and veggies. I would definitely recommend it and order it again. From the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out the staff treated us amazing and Alex made sure we had everything we needed. 10/10 for food and for hospitality.

This has been my third time visiting GSR and I believe I can make an accurate review of my times there. I went recently for the Super Bowl Diamond Pavilion VIP viewing party, and enjoyed some casual gaming at their establishment. The three words I would use to describe my experience are, Personable, Attentive, and Welcoming. At the event, food/drinks were catered with efficiency, attention to detail, and also delicious. Also it was just generally clean and well presented. While on the gaming floor, we were consistently welcomed by the wonderful servers, who not only remembered my name and drink order from my last visits, but were nothing short of welcoming and attentive to our needs. The servers I would like to mention are, Both Jenny’s(Day and Swing), Z, Sandra, Rocky, and Janell. I’d also like to make a mention to the wonderful Bartender in the high roller area, An-an, who is always a delight to see and chat with. Lastly, I’d like to make mention to Susie, who not only greeted us upon arrival, but made sure to check in on us during the event, and couldn’t have been more professional and attentive to our needs. I do hope this review reaches them, they deserve the praise for performing such a wonderful job at this establishment, and their quality of work is more of why I return the next time. Added note, love the buffet.

Positive: Staff was nice, and they offered a lot of entertainment, and food options. Negative: The hallways and rooms had stained and dirty carpets, towels and sheets looked blood stained. No hand sanitizer on floor dispensers and a lack of handicap parking in premises.

I had an incredible experience in the High Limit Room, and bartender An An absolutely made the night. From the moment I sat down, she was attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. She has that perfect balance of efficiency and personality — always on top of drinks without ever making you feel rushed. An An makes some of the best cocktails I’ve had on the floor — perfectly balanced, smooth, and consistent every time. Even in a busy high-limit environment, she stays calm, friendly, and sharp. She remembered my drink preference and checked in at just the right times. The High Limit Room itself felt exclusive, comfortable, and well-run, but An An’s service is what really elevated the experience. If you’re playing high limit and want top-tier service, ask for An An. She’s a true professional and a big reason I’ll be back.

We had such an amazing experience thanks to Jason Dunn at Grand Sierra Casino! We’re here celebrating my friend’s birthday, and Jason truly went above and beyond to make it special. His customer service was outstanding from start to finish — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The highlight was the beautiful cake he sent up for the birthday celebration. It was such a thoughtful surprise and made the night even more memorable. You can tell he really cares about creating a great experience for guests. If you’re visiting Grand Sierra Casino, we highly recommend asking for Jason. He made our celebration unforgettable! 🎉

I really wanted to give 5 stars...the room was amazing, I had a King Deluxe. I loved the bathroom as well. My issue was how you can hear everything going on in the next rooms and halls. I swear they have the thinnest walls, I had to sleep with ear buds in. If it wasn't so noisy, it'd be perfect. I loved the spa and everyone who works there was very kind and helpful.

We just wrapped up the most amazing stay at the Grand Sierra Resort from Wednesday through today, and I truly can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience! From the moment we arrived, the check-in staff took incredible care of us and surprised us with an amazing room, such a great start to our trip. Management truly went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect, and we felt so valued the entire time. We had breakfast at the Grand Café, and our waitress Rita was the sweetest lady, she spent time chatting with us and genuinely connecting, which made our morning feel extra special. We also had an absolute blast on the casino floor!!!! The slots were on fire, and those buffaloes really showed up for us! 🦬🔥 So much fun! Overall, it was a truly magical stay, and we already can’t wait to come back. We’re excited to bring our kids here next time, and I also have an upcoming bachelorette trip planned at GSR, so thrilled! An extra special shout-out to Michael J. Munda for making sure our trip was flawless. His care and follow-through meant the world to us. Thank you, GSR, for such an unforgettable experience, see you again very soon!
