The Engen Hus Bed & Breakfast

My friend and I had a great stay here for 2 nights. I am happy I picked this Beautiful Bed and Breakfast for my staycation. I wanted a place to relax on my birthday week. If you want a clean relaxing and cozy space stay here. The bed was so comfortable. We stayed in the Jordan Pines room. We liked how each end table had 3 cord chargers that was a nice touch. Esther was a great host and attentive and open communication throughout our stay We also thank her husband Nathan who was behind the scenes. We did enjoy the breakfast offered. The food was good. The mini fridge and snacks were nice. Next visit we will stay in a different room and use the hot tub. We appreciate you welcoming us in this house. Happy Holidays. 🎄

This was the first B&B my husband and I stayed at and we had a great experience. Esther was an amazing host. She made an AMAZING breakfast. The house and rooms were very clean and cozy. We will definitely stay here again and tell all of our friends and family about this cute little place we stumbled upon.

We stayed at Engen Hus for one night with another couple on our way to the SLC airport the following day (only a 20 minute drive). We were impressed with every aspect of our stay and our only disappointment was that we couldn't spend more time there! The house was well decorated, comfortable, very clean, and welcoming. Both rooms were a nice size with comfortable beds and large bathrooms. We spent time on the patio where we ate pizza that we ordered for dinner (we would highly recommend Supremo Pizza!). Esther could not have been a more accommodating host! Since we had to leave at 6:30 the next morning and couldn't stay for breakfast, she made us 4 large parfaits to take with us. They were delicious! There were a lot of nice extras during our stay: we were able to keep our cold items in the kitchen refrigerator, there was an area that had different drinks and snacks that were complimentary, there was a Keurig with various coffees and teas that we could use at any time (with to-go cups that we used in the morning), there were 3 different size chargers on the nightstands for our use, and many other amenities. We didn't want for anything! We would highly recommend staying at the Engen Hus and if you can stay for more than one night it would be well worth it!

Beautiful home with a fully equity kitchen for the traveling professional chef! It was such a joy to stay here! From the live plants to the extra cozy pillows, all of the details were so very well considered for every persons comfort! Highly recommend!

A hidden gem near SLC! The rooms are spotless and beautifully kept, with cozy shared spaces that feel like home. Esther is a kind and thoughtful host who goes above and beyond, making this B&B far more welcoming than any chain hotel.

There are plenty of reasons Engen Hus gets five stars from reviewers. Rooms are well appointed with comfortable beds and luxe linens. Shared space makes for a far more comfortable stay. Rooms and bathrooms are spotless. Hosts are super service oriented. All in all a far superior experience than chain hotels.
