Inn at the Art Center

This is the most unique place you will ever stay! Sabrina is very attentive to all your needs...and an amazing artist. You MUST stop in to Maura Hagood's; who does the "Eye Spy Christmas" in her home...WOW is an understatement! Her interview on SanAngeloLIVE doesn't do it justice. And don't forget stop in to all the artist's studios on site...especially Kathy Kromer & Sue Pirtle's at Studio #4. We will definitely make this a yearly visit!

This was not what I consider to be a bed and breakfast experience with a group community area to meet other guests and a hosted breakfast. There is a self serve limited kitchen down the way and a can of snacks with a long note about not taking too many in the suite. I did not even find any water in the fridge - just an ice cream bar of questionable vintage.||The artist community is interesting conceptually but was not open on the night of my stay. Probably better on Thurs-Sun. Likewise the restaurant in the complex was also closed on the night of my stay. ||The hosts need you to make an "appointment" to check in but were very accommodating of my vague timing. Parking was a bit complicated and not well lighted after dark.

Beautiful location! We started our stay during an art market they were hosting and it was very delightful! The room we got was just as delightful! Very comfortable and novel.

We loved this spot. We arrived far too late in the evening to take in our surroundings (BTW, it's quite dark so a flashlight will come in handy if you arrive in the dark) but were absolutely delighted when we awoke to art quite literally everywhere! Truly a unique spot with very comfortable accommodations. Sadly, our schedule did not allow us to visit the many shops on-premise but we'll be back! We're not in San Angelo often but would return to the Inn in a heartbeat as it was a truly lovely stay.

Such a lovely place to stay! Very relaxed atmosphere and the combination of the artwork and plant life throughout the property is wonderful. The shops are adorable and we had the extra bonus of live music in the evening. Nice and quiet. The rooms are perfect and have everything you’d need. My only suggestion (as a crazy chicken lady) is to add a few chickens for fun!

This is definitely a unique place to stay. The host that showed me the property was very nice and the property was so neat. There are artists that have rooms around the property. The room itself is a converted chicken coop. It had all the necessities you could need. Mini split and ceiling fan kept the room cool and there is also a microwave and mini fridge. They have a common area with water, mini milks, apple and orange juice. Frozen breakfast sandwiches and individual cereal bowls for breakfast.

Our recent stay at The Inn at the Art Center was great. This property has been converted from an old chicken farm and the owners and staff have done a fabulous job. We stayed in the Santa Fe room. It was roomy, comfortable and has a wonderful (and huge) walk in shower. Everyone was helpful and super friendly. Everywhere you look, both inside and outside there is art to see. This also happened to be First Saturday and that meant there were vendors set up on Saturday morning with even more art to see and purchase a treasure or two. We cant wait to go back and take some friends!
