Hotel Havana

It was very clean and quiet. Next door to the Tobin Center. There is an entrance to the Riverwalk right across the street, but it's quite a hike to the commercial loop with all of the restaurants. You can also walk south about four blocks on the sidewalks to get to the Riverwalk. If you want to jog along the river, it's a great location. I would stay here again.

Hotel Havana, a total gem. Shane thank you for the warmest greetings upon our arrival on our special day as it truly started the mood off right for the perfect day. We appreciate the kindness you showed to us and our senior pug, Daisy. The entire experience was wonderful. We had a beautiful place to experience love and we hope to return - we hope this isn't the end but a beginning.

So much potential for this hotel but it feels like the owner ran out of money for continuing improvements and maintenance. Security is also a big concern. Panhandling in the parking lot at night and a homeless guy came in the front door and had full access to the building wandering around with a backpack looking for a bathroom while the 1 hotel employee was in the back making more coffee for the lobby. The parking lot door is left unlocked at night . They need a card reader and cameras as SA is a sanctuary city and homeless people are everywhere. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. It’s a beautiful property and clean but both major and minor maintenance is being deferred.

This historic hotel off the SA Riverwalk is a gem! Location is quiet and yet located within easy walking distance to sites. We loved the hardwood floors and decor throughout as well as the easy parking (with charger) and grounds. Staff excellent and responsive as well. Will visit again when in SA.

I just want to comment on what a wonderful stay I had over Labor Day Weekend (2024). The room was comfortable and so historical and unique. The Hotel itself is just beautiful. I love that I could easily walk to the busier parts of The River Walk and still return to this quieter area. I had one of the best breakasts at Ocho and wonderful cocktails in the bar. The young man that worked the front desk all weekend was so polite and helpful! Actually, all staff I interacted with were just as friendly, from the restaurant to the bar. I recommend this place to anyone that might be going to San Antonio. I had the best experience.

Great secluded Hotel with a private , romantic bar whether it’s for a solo drink with friends , solo or your romantic meet get away…. Hidden Gem. The hotel side very unique still preserve its original historical look and decor. Great place to unwind and close to everything downtown! If you have an EV they got too I highly recommend this Hotel or simply for a brunch, get together the food is AWESOME

A bit old (1914!) and missing some amenities of more expensive hotels but overall nice. Comfortable bed, good shower, dark enough room and very helpful staff. The restaurant & bar were under renovation.
