Holiday Inn Express Spokane-Downtown by IHG

This hotel was very nice. It is up on a hill overlooking the downtown area. It's very centrally located to the Riverfront. I had a king suite and it was very spacious. You hear very little, if any, road noise. The employees were friendly and helpful. I also enjoyed the breakfast and free cookies. I would definitely stay here again.

What a lovely and striking looking hotel. Easy to find and it was a great stop as we were just passing through on our way to Glacier National park. Large carpark and very friendly and welcoming reception staff. Room was large and comfortable with a small balcony and a view over Spokane. We were told of the local dining facilities nearby and there were very welcoming cookies available later. The free breakfast was excellent and contained all we needed. Couldn't fault this hotel in any way. Most enjoyable stay

Positive: Always a flawless stay with amazing staff. Negative: I would prefer the option for daily room cleaning even if it is a short stay but I understand why hotels have started to pull back from that and move to an every other day room cleaning.

Charlye managing the front desk welcomed me with so much hospitality, care, and true concern to make sure my entire stay would be perfect. She is remarkable and a light for all of us guests! I will come back just because she made me feel so cared for!

Went to see a play in town recently, so it was really convenient to have only a 5 minute trip back to the room. It was quite close to many food options. My husband booked us the Gonzaga suite. 2 tvs, a comfortable bed, and multiple chairs around the second TV. The shower is quite large; more than enough room for two. There is a lip (~3 in.) into the shower, so be aware of that if you have mobility limitations. It does have a seat built in, but I'd recommend throwing a small towel down because it is cold tile. All around a lovely stay. Thank you, Maria for doing such a good job cleaning the room!

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean with comfortable beds. The free breakfast was great and our daughter loved the free nightly cookies and milk. It was also great to have a room that opens to the reserved parking spot right in front of the door.

Great hotel location. Walking distance to Spokane Arena and other nearby venues for events. On a hill so there are some decent views. Hotel looks cool from the outside, though the rooms are pretty standard for Holiday Inn Express (but clean and well maintained). Parking is easy and free. Car access is easy via Division St. Breakfast is typical for the brand. Didn't have any complaints here, would definitely stay again.
