Cherry Orchard Inn

Positive: Location is convenient Negative: The hotel is super old. The elevator is a joke. The safety certificate was expired years ago. The staff had no understanding of the law and insisted on charging on my service dog, even though I showed them the SAFE documents. He even asked me to sue them.

The facility is fine. No smell issues. Bottled water and a Keurig are a nice touch. No fitness facility. I was disappointed because that is why I chose this place based on the listed information..

Stayed two nights as a Solo - the place is quite noisy since its right by a KFC drive thru and there was road work right by the block. First night was good since the place was little vacant, but not the second night. I stayed in the 3rd floor and getting there using elevator is probably an experience on it own 🤣. I suggest taking stairs. Inside of the room felt clean, bed linen was clean, towels smelled and felt clean. Air conditioning was average, lights were like a disco club 😁. The phone by the bedside doesn’t work, I wanted to call and inform them that I was checking out but couldn’t. They had kept a bottle of water (16oz) when I checked in, but the housekeeper didn’t keep another one during housekeeping- not sure if its the policy but there was nothing to buy within the room either. I liked the shower(over tub), it was right amount of pressure.

Vik at the front desk was an amazing help! Got in late, Vik helped me solve some booking issue when I arrived for check in late. Shower runs hot, very nice stay over all! I will stay again! Clean rooms, very friendly staff. Glad I booked here

You will see all these 5 stars on this reviews, but my review will be different. I’m giving them a 1 because they charges my deposit fee to the previous customer that damaged their room. I understand that they charged me a pet fee of $25 dollars but any other damages that the previous customer had done shouldn’t be coming off my pocket. On top of that, when I booked a room from them online, they don’t provide a deposit instructions on the descriptions. Usually hotels would have my card on hold but holding my money in their system and charging me because of previous customer that was there, and I had to pay for their damages. I feel like they just scammed me out of my money, and they’re just going to keep it that way because what ever the damages is there already, they will keep it there and scam people out of their money. Because they’re too cheap to purchase new furnitures or the essential stuff that goes into those rooms. I suggest everyone to take pictures of everything before you settle in, because they will charge you previous customer damages. But I will also no recommend staying here as well. Better off staying in a motel 6 then being charge for someone else’s damages.

Very noisy guests and thin walls. The room was dirty, especially the bathroom and the ac/heater unit. The floor constantly reeks of plastic. There's a microwave in the room though. This place is run down and they need to place guests that arrive late in the same area. It's a noisy, run down hotel.
