Residence Inn by Marriott Tampa Westshore/Airport

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very nice and the location was great, but what truly made our experience exceptional was the customer service. Jacqueline and Josh were absolutely top-notch. I have honestly never met people who were so kind, welcoming, and genuinely willing to help in every way possible. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and cared for. There was also another front desk staff member with a husky (I wish I had gotten her name) who was incredibly sweet to my 6-year-old son and always willing to help with anything he needed. Her kindness did not go unnoticed. Overall, the staff made this stay memorable, and we would absolutely return because of them. Highly recommend!

My stay here was nice!! Checkin was quick and easy!! The staff was friendly and very helpful!! The rooms were clean and spacious!!! My only gripe was that the A/C in our suite was very loud and it was hard to sleep at times. The breakfast had great hot and cold selections!! The pool and fire pit outside was a nice vibe!! Would definitely stay again with a quieter A/C unit.

Cozy rooms. Very soundproof. Lots of families with children, including ours, and never heard doors slamming in the hallways or any noise from other rooms. The staff were amazing and so friendly. We chose to not have any housekeeping the whole week we were there but the front desk staff kept us well stocked on anything we needed. Felt like leaving family when it was time to go. We would love to come back again one day!

Been a Marriott member since the 90’s. This one night stay before our cruise was anything but comfortable and did not meet the standards for a Marriott. Our room, 709, a studio king needs maintenance. The room was clean and equipped, but The overhead kitchen light flickered, endlessly, so no light in the kitchenette. The tv volume was up to the max, and still, hardly audible 5 feet from the tv. Then, the HVAC motor started and we could hardly hear anything but the constant drone and vibration of the motor. |We stayed at many Marriotts over the years, but this particular room did not meet the Marriott quality we know and trust. I will share the maintenance needs with the front desk.

My family stayed here one night because we flew out of Tampa the next morning and wanted a stay close to the airport. |The two bedroom suite was spotless and quiet. |The breakfast was great! |We would definitely stay at this convenient location again.

My first and absolute last time staying at a residence inn!! As a platinum bonvoy member I have stayed in many Marriott brand hotels globally but this is my first time having to leave a review. The clerk at check in was snobby, rude, unprofessional and belittling. Instead of a smooth check in process at 1am I was greeted with a lecture about how my own benefits should be used as if I have not used them countless amounts of times. It got to the point where I asked to cancel my room mid check in but was told it was too late to cancel. Not only that the room was not even clean, the floors were sticky, the shower would not stay closed and the AC was extremely loud for no reason. Outdated rooms with a cheap renovation. This place is nothing more than an overpriced glorified motel 6 with extremely rude staff!! Stay away, there are PLENTY better options in the area.

Our stay at the Residence Inn Tampa Westshore/Airport was the perfect base for a Florida getaway. The location made it easy to catch an NHL home game — the atmosphere was electric, and coming back to a spacious suite felt like a reward after the excitement. The hotel’s amenities, especially the pool and breakfast, added comfort to our trip. We also took time to explore Clearwater, just a short drive away, and loved how convenient it was to balance city energy with coastal relaxation. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and a great location — we’ll definitely return for another mix of hockey nights and sunny Florida days.
