Comfort Suites Tulsa Central

Went during Valentine's weekend, for a big card show and just a small family vacation. Everything that could've went wrong/or was broke was. Pool was ice cold with the big pool light just floating on the water, hot tub didn't work. In the room, we didn't have full size towels and the TV didn't work. Tried having them switch me rooms and they just handed me 5 remotes saying try these maybe it'll work. Me my wife and 4 kids. It was hectic because trying to entertain 4 kids without a pool or a TV at the least was crazy. The manager was kind of a help but not much. Would not recommend for a big family or just someone wanting to take a dip in the pool. Lots of other options within walking distance. Will try my luck elsewhere next time.

The room itself was clean, the hotel was quiet and clean as a whole. We stayed in a room with a pull out bed/couch, the mattress on that bed was disgusting and dirty and looked like there had been bed bugs. Our room did not get very cold at all, it was set on 60 with the fan blowing for several hours and still did not cool off very well. We had several issues with the room key not working and the night staff was not readily available to assist when going to the desk or calling. The hotel manager (her name slipped my mind) was very friendly and helpful. As was the daytime employee. Good continental breakfast with several options. Did not use the pool or spa.

The hotel was in need of general maintenance and cleaning. First night we stayed and the comforter covers had visible stains, pull out couch had a lighter and food trash trapped in it, HDMI cable for the tv had been stollen so had to get front staff to bring us another, pool had so much chlorine it was murky and the fumes alone burned our eyes. Next night we came back after being out all day to no clean towels, had to get pool towels, then was informed from another guest that the water was out. We checked out and switched hotels at that point. The staff was very kind but Comfort Inn Suites seems to be letting their hotels get too dilapidated for me. I’ve stay in a few others recently and I won’t be using them anymore.

1. Lied to over the phone about the hot tub working which was the only reason we booked the hotel. It was barely lukewarm. 2. Susan, a very rude manager, would not let us finish our breakfast in peace in the sitting common area. She repeatedly harassed us until we left. 3. TV remote only turned the TV on and off and the volume up and down. It did not otherwise work to change the channel. The mattress, pillows, and bedding were clean and comfortable. About the only positive other than a decently central location. Will not stay here again. Sleep Inn next door has much better facilities with an indoor hot tub, pool, AND sauna as well as kinder, more professional staff.

I understand nothing is perfect. However if I’m going to be sleeping somewhere that others have. That I prefer it to be. Checking in - booked a room with an in room tub for an occasion. Show up and somehow the 2 rooms you have were already booked. How does that happen? So instead of offering us a discount for a cheap room, we got a half ass offer to move into a big room "executive suite" in which we did not need. However to get our room money worth, we should have taken Lori up on the offer. $140 for a cheap room. Holes in the drop down ceiling in multiple areas. Elevator had a malfunctioned. (Worked at check out) USED bar of dove soap in the shower. Peices of toilet paper behind the bathroom room. Toilet seat had seen better days. Possibly tooth paste spit on handle of the sink. Dust on the towels in the shelf. Water spotted pad of paper very questionable spot on the couch (imagine if one was to sit on the couch naked after either not cleaning themselves after… activities or going to the bathroom. CRUMBS IN THE BED! Why didn’t we ask for a new room? Or leave? We needed a place to stay. We had paid. We were tired.

This is the most disgusting Comfort Suites we ever stayed in. We were there for 5 days. No water until late at night the first day. Roaches in the bathroom, leaves and twigs under the bar sink, mold on the ceiling, and only had our rooms cleaned the first 2 days we were there. The breakfast was not up to par for a Comfort Suites. Apple juice was watered down and I only tried the sausage the first morning. It was gross. Best bet is to stick with a wrapped Danish. It is not in the best area. It is by a bus terminal so people walking across parking lot all night. There are homeless people hanging out by the back by dumpsters. I did not feel safe coming in by myself at night. One night there was a methed out guy in the parking lot who kept flinging his arms and muttering at me. I called my roommate to make sure i got in safe. She always carries a gun. I would give it a zero stars if I could. The only thing you will EVER get out if them is an apology. Absolutely no compensation at all. Once they have your credit card payment it is game over.😡😡 We are in Tulsa alot and will NEVER stay there again. Travelers BEWARE!!!

Just wanted to say sum, this is the worst hotel in Tulsa. They gave us a room that was completely dirty. Housekeeping was shitty. No respect. They still had us checked in when we checked out the same night we left BC we found bed bugs. DO NOT COME HERE VERY HATEFUL STAFF!! They also told us that we shouldn’t be checking out because of the situation. Also they didn’t give us all the money back we paid for this hotel. Just a crazy situation.
