Good Gracious Inn

First our keys didn’t work and when we finally got in our first room (229) the heater did not work and it was 12 degrees outside so we were freezing and the room smelled very bad and was dirty. I asked for another room because the heat didn’t work we went to room 105 which was better than 229 but it was dirty and it smelled bad but at least the heater worked. The shower was filthy and disgusting. The bed sheets had burn holes in them but a nice lady came to change them. We stayed two days and during that time no one came to collect the dirty towels or take out the trash. My children went to the front counter to give them the dirty towels and asked for clean ones and they were told they did not have any clean face towels to give us. Dog poo was all over the grass in front of our room so that was disgusting. There was a loud argument going on around 3am or so disturbing our sleep. I definitely would not recommend this hotel. I stayed here a few years ago because I liked the location and had a decent experience in a clean room. I don’t know what happened but this hotel has gone down hill and I would not stay there again.

Let's just say.... wouldn't be put on a list of options... first off I was put into a handicapped room.. don't know why.. I'm not disabled and I felt that they could've saved that room for someone that actually is. To top it off. The room smelled like urine.. so bad I had to get car fresher from my car. The shower head was broke and the tube wasn't clean. And to make matters worse... the housekeeping lady was very rude... she would try and come in even after u tell her to hold up. She kinda of snoops. Around. And that's not cool. Wouldn't be a choice for me. Sorry not sorry.

The room was comfortable enough, and check-in was a breeze. There were no hassles, and the staff was friendly and responsive. Overall, we felt welcome, and were nearly as pleased as usual with our experience. I took off one star because the room was not as clean as it should have been. The bedspread and carpet had quite a bit of hair, crumbs, & stains that would not have passed a cursory inspection. However, the bathroom was clean and the plumbing worked well. I therefore suspect that the holiday schedule had caused a housekeeping oversight, and that the state of the room was a one-time error. We did not complain to the front desk about the misstep in cleanliness. The last two nights of our stay, the television was malfunctioning, and we did inform the front desk about this, for the benefit of the next guests.

I checked into the hotel. Evening staff wasn't friendly. Got my room and checked it out. At first glance room appeared to be clean. After an evening out returned to the room and noticed that there were burn holes in the top cover on the bed, and the television didn't work. I called up to the front desk to see report the television problem. The front desk clerk stated that the TV is fine that it had to be turned on at the television not by remote. This did not work. Next morning speaking with the desk clerk about issues I had during my stay was met with indifferent concern. About the burn marks on the top cover of the bed I was told that "Until the manager can get some in that's all we have to work with, and that they are all that way." I left the hotel and promptly contacted Motel 6 customer support. Overall the room was clean (bathroom, carpet, furniture, and sheets.) Front desk, not customer service oriented, and needs someone to take care of problems related to Television and bedding.

Any positive review is clearly written by hotel staff. As everyone says burn holes in the sheets and comforter. I can look past that what I cannot look past is the massive bedbugs!!! I did take pictures when I went down to ask for a refund they didn’t even look surprised that I was telling them they had bedbugs. This place is absolutely filthy there was poop smeared on the toilet seat! I am very thankful that I checked the bed so we didn’t stay there. It took me less than 10 seconds to find bedbugs everywhere.

I was in town for some family business. Got a great weekly rate at the Motel 6 Website. The room was fine. Housekeeping, not so great. My bed was made once during the week. I got clean towels once during the week. Coffee was available in the lobby, except for the one day the coffee machine was broke. The lobby staff was friendly enough, but mainly disinterested. The TV remote did not work, but a very friendly maintenance man took care of it.

The place is under construction. We started off in one room but the shower did not work. The 2nd room was much better. The TV was difficult to mess with because we had to program the remote. The heater/air conditioner under the window completely fell apart. I just set the cover part on the floor. The room was clean, but out side were piles of mattresses and old broken furnature from the remodeling. The room was $59 and I had to pay a cash $50 dollar deposit in which I had to wait until they checked out our room to get it back. We were glad to get a room at last minute but the price was still a bit steep for what we got. No coffee, no breakfast, not sure about ice. But the bed was comfortable, and we were just extra tired and needed some sleep. The staff was friendly.
