Hotel Avenida - Victorville, Hesperia, Apple valley

My husband and I flew into LAX and we're heading down to Las Vegas for a few days and got an airbnb at this hotel. It was the WORST experience ever. The woman that checked us in was beyond rude. She kept asking me about pets and guest and I told her we didn't have any. She then asked for a $50 dll deposit which was weird because normally it's requested on the airbnb website which wasn't. She stated that I would get my deposit "tomorrow" once she verified there were no pets or guest. "THE ROOM" it was EXTREMELY dirty!! Hair was found on the bed, the towels were stained with "brown streaks" there was lipstick stains on the door, the door was in poor shape, the restroom was dirty, water went from cold to burning hot it was a horrible experience and the location is in a dangerous area. The next day I went to get my $50 dll deposit back and was told 4-5 business days! Do yourself a favor and stay away, this placs it is not a safe, pictures don't match and it's filthy! Please report them to airbnb if you booked through them they need to know what's going on!

The staff was rude. I observed Cockroaches, both alive and dead in the pool. There were holes in the wall of the room witch smelled of Marijuana. A local gang has made the back of this hotel their hangout spot. Do not bring your kids

DO NOT STAY HERE. The rooms are nothing like the pictures. They have no spa bath, no breakfast and no cleaning service. We arrived after a 24 hr drive and the manager Tom was very rude and aggressive from the start. When we got to our room there was a baggie of drugs outside of our door, the bedding hadn't been changed, surfaces are covered in filth, bathtub is filthy. We asked for new bedding or a clean room and Tom admitted that all of the rooms were filthy and if we didn't like it we could leave. I called choice hotels and found out that this quality inn is no longer affiliated w them as of April 22 2025. I called trivago and was told they could only ask the manager for a refund but it was out of their hands what he decides. The manager refused to give the info on who owns this place. Save your money and your time.

I would like to say I appreciate the woman at the front desk, she was understanding of the issue I had with my stay, but the Owner or Sr. Manager overrode her decision to reimburse me, even when I agreed that she can keep the $40 deposit. We didn't even stay there for 15 minutes, the rooms were too hot for comfort, yet the owner was happy to scam me for a service he failed to provide. I am never giving my money to this business again, and I had come there many times before.

I almost died getting out of the shower in room 118!! I literally already have bad eyesight which is an understatement, but that shouldn't have my concerns but they have no hand grips stepping out of the shower no floor mat to help me get my footing and the depth perception is way the freak off!! I asked the front desk person if they have accident/injury reports and her quickly said No and shook his head. This is irresponsible of them in so many ways. I really want them to get it together so something like this doesn't hurt another elderly person.

This place is scary and unsafe. Lots of drug dealing and homeless in the area looking for a quick hustle. I stayed here one night and didn't sleep at all due to all of the commotion outside in the halls. Do not waste your time or money. It is cheap for a reason. Look into the chain hotels near the mall. For 20 more dollars you can find a room with private security watching over your car at night and gets a good night's sleep

I've stayed at this hotel several times It's always clean, It's quiet here. The managers are great they will always help you. I enjoyed staying here my kids love the pool, It's always clean. I definitely will stay again. People leave bad reviews Because of the old managers the new managers keep up on this place. It has been completely remodeled. The rooms are Great.
