Overall, this is a pleasant and modestly priced option for a one or two-night stay. Somehow, I got rerouted to this place from the other Hilton Woodland Hills, but this place was suitable and serviceable for one night. The staff seemed harried and stressed, but they tried their very best to take care of everyone checking in. Complimentary breakfast was okay, but please hire more people. One exhausted worker could not be everywhere at once, and so many items like milk ran out quickly and were not replenished as we all tripped over one another to find it. Parking was exorbitant: why charge us half our monthly mortgage to self-park?
VALET ONLY PARKING!! NO SELF PARKING ALLOWED HERE!! They charge you $31 dollars a night plus 10% LA parking tax!! $34.10 each night for parking! They charge $75 dollars each night for incidentals taken from your card when you check in for each night you stay! BED was like sleeping on concrete! Pillows go flat within minutes of laying your head down. You could smell cigarettes and weed. Thunder foot above me stomping and kids screaming through the walls. I turned the tv up to not hear them, couldn’t do much about the cigarettes and weed. ROOM was okay. Apartment sized fridge is good to have. BREAKFAST was set up to make a sandwich. Ham was paper thin, cheese okay, bagels okay, sausage patty okay, chorizo sausage patty spicy, eggs were eggs. Not nothing to get excited over. It’s not made right there, it is just heat and serve food. When you check in they welcome you and help you with your luggage but when you check out they don’t help at all. I called the front desk 3 times to see if a cart can be brought up but there was no answer. I figured they were checking people out. So I went down there and there were no guest checking out. The front desk employee and the valet employee were just talking and laughing. There was another employee who was asleep on the table. I grabbed the cart and headed back to get my luggage. I came back down and the valet employee took my key, I checked out and paid the ridiculous ADDED FEES!!, the valet employee came back and gave me my key and sat down next to the employee sleeping on the table and back to joking with the front desk employee. Did not offer to help or anything. Yet when I first got there to check in they told me they would get the luggage out of my car and put it on the cart, Not during checkout! No help whatsoever! OVERALL I would not stay here again and do not recommend it because of the added outrageous parking fees, breakfast and bed!!
We stayed here for one night with our toddler. They staff was super friendly and helpful. The pool and gym are clean and well maintained. The free breakfast is a perk! The only downsides are the mattress, pillows, and mandatory valet parking. We changed rooms because the bed was uncomfortable, you could feel the springs as you lay down. The new bed was the same and the pillows were not firm. The bed and parking aside, we had a great stay!
Room and facilities are nice. Free breakfast is great too. A little crazy that their only parking option is a $31/day valet. I haven’t checked out yet but I did notice additional fees only after I booked and confirmed my stay.
I recently stayed at Home2 Suites by Hilton in Los Angeles, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The room service was absolutely awesome, and the hotel itself was spotless and very well maintained. The breakfast options were great every morning, adding a perfect start to the day. The staff was extremely helpful throughout my stay, always ready to assist with a smile. The valet service was excellent as well—quick, convenient, and very professional. Overall, my experience was truly enjoyable, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting LA.
The pro was the room. The bedroom has it's standing shower, pull out couch, refrigerator, toaster, extra amenities. Breakfast every day was good and def worth it including it. The ladies did a great job up keeping the room. The Con was learning a deposit is needed each day for $75 per day. Not included in the invoice prior to purchasing. Additional $14 dollars per day for services. Not included on invoice until day of. The pool was being worked on the whole week I was there. The laundry room downstairs had one of each washer and dryer working all the other ones were broken. So 1/3 was working. The bar is convenient to have downstairs BUT keep in mind you can hear them on the next floor all through the night of working hours. The pillows , unless you want extra soft were you sink all the way down and no head support then they are for you!
I’m extremely disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel. After checking in, we returned to find that our entire suite had no power whatsoever. Only the lobby and hallways were running on backup generators. The staff simply handed us two flashlights and told us the room had no electricity. This was especially concerning because we were traveling with two seniors, and the room was completely unsafe to navigate in the dark. At no point during booking or check-in were we informed that the room was non-functional. If the hotel knew certain rooms had no power, those rooms should not have been assigned to guests. We requested help, but the response was minimal and dismissive. A hotel should provide safe, usable accommodations—or at least offer alternatives or compensation when they cannot. This experience ruined our stay, and I cannot recommend this property until they improve communication and guest safety standards.
