It feels like having a private beach with a small crowd. Calm, safe, and full of positive vibes. You can truly relax and enjoy the sound of the waves without feeling rushed or crowded. The beach is clean and well maintained, with convenient places to clean up after a fun time in the water. It’s perfect for families and anyone looking for a quiet, stress free beach experience. Tips: Arrive early in the morning for an even more peaceful experience Bring your own snacks and water The $5 entry fee is worth every penny for how clean and well kept the beach is Kathryn Hanna is a hidden gem. Highly recommend if you want peace, safety, and natural beauty all in one place. Bring your bicycle to have the best ride of your life
You need to give this place a 10-star rating. So many things to do. Could probably spend a couple of days there one of the best mountain biking areas I've been to. We were in Palm Coast riding our bikes for the holidays. And decided to drive up to Hanna Park since we were only 2 hours away. It was a blast wish that we had had more time.
Hanna Park is a great City park with many things to do. My wife and I enjoy camping there. I ride mountain bikes on the trails, we hike, go to the beach, and ride bikes on the paved roads. There are playgrounds available for children and a small water play area as well.
If this wasn't a city park, it would be a luxury RV park, the setting is like a jungle and the beach is next to this 450 acre park, amazing. Tons of trails for bikes, etc. Maintenance crews are almost always there doing something. Only draw back is no concrete pads.
If you have a bad time here its on you.. this place is amazing. Extremely well kept and the wild life is awesome to see. The beach areas are some of the best in Jacksonville!
Super clean beach, parking lot has covered place to eat, and walk to beach is two minutes! Much fewer bike riders or thru traffic and very calm quiet visitors away from the busy beach front! bonus for drive up to the lagoon and seeing a large alligator immediately!!
I recall the first time that I ever been to this park is when I used to be stationed at N.S. Mayport in 1993. My first visit was awesome and had no idea that this particular park was here. This picture is from 2019 and it was perfect timing when I took the picture. I love many types of birds and nature as well.
