Lazy Diamond has a rating of 3.9 out of 5 based on over 427 reviews on Google
Super chill place to have a drink on their slow days. We went on Sunday and it was a sick little spot. Andrew was our bartender and he was damn good. I’ll definitely stop by again the next time I’m in town.
Rude guy bartender ("manager"), bad for business. Bad attitude. 3.9 Stars for a reason. Go to Banks instead. A mostly empty bar, and I hadn't ordered a drink, and nursing some water to balance myself out from earlier drinks at a different place. Chatting at bar, and asked me to leave. I asked why and what I'd done wrong. "Cause I hadn't ordered a drink." (not even offered an ultimatum). I wasn't rowdy, sloppy, just cordial. It was never communicated to me before, that I needed to order or gtfo. They had two DJs in the bar, and about 10 guests. I offered to buy a drink / shot: nope. Waited for uber outside in cold. Chatting with a gentlemen about sneakers. Asked to not be on the property at all by the manager. Proceeded to walk 5 feet away onto sidewalk. Sounds like someone had a sour New Years and wanted to get it out on others.
We were unfairly kicked out of the venue after my friend fainted. The security guard didn't check on my friend’s well-being and instead focused on removing us, citing safety concerns?. On the other hand, the bartender at the smaller ballroom showed genuine care, providing my friend with water. Despite this, the security guard still insisted on removing us, taking away the water. We were completely sober, paying customers who didn't receive any support, refund, or understanding. Kudos to the bartender for her kindness – she was the only one who showed compassion.
Solid "dive" bar but that's my jam. Staff were cool. It's a members only thing but all you have to do is be decent, sign in and you're good. If you want craft beers and kale salad this is not for you. They have chips for a buck. If you remember the Highlander from ATL and liked it then this is your home away from home.
If you’re looking for a dive bar with a personality then this is the place…. The vibe… the atmosphere is what it is AWESOME… strong drinks … cheep beers … a down right service industry type bar with a punk rock attitude! The service was on point and exceptional but read the room don’t expect to be more then what it is… props to the bartender Sarah! She crushed it and made it an excellent experience!!! I 1000% recommend this being a stop!
Christopher was kind bar tender but I did have no other people in the bar area to complete with. Everyone enjoying the night air. Peace conversation on a Wednesday night not so busy. Asheville seems to have gone down hill bad in last 27 years but this little hole here not to bad.
I see why it’s 3 stars lol I am new to the area and places like this just gave me ehhhhh vibes!!! Cute looking location but I’m grabbing my drink and going. Staff is so unwelcoming…
