My fiancé and I always wanted to come here and decided today was the day. It was a great experience! Kat is awesome!!! She welcomed us in and treated us like we’ve been coming for years. Definitely making us become regulars. Burgers and fries are fantastic! The price for everything was so good! Best bar I’ve ever been to.

Amazing place. Came here after feeling under the weather and me and fiancé had the great deal on the cheeseburgers. Not only is server amazing and friendly, but damn does she cook like a champ. Cheeseburger and a beer with some good hospitality are hard to come by these days. Definitely should check it out

Came into the bar and it was very quiet for a Saturday, hubby and I sat at the bar for 15 minutes. Nobody ever came by to greet us or offer drinks the two girls working were more concerned with their phones at the opposite end of the bar than bartending. We walked out and went down the road to the castle, a much more lively irish bar. Won’t be back

Always a great time at Matty's! Great food and service. It's the definition of local dive bar. Cheap and easy with a fun cast of characters and a Happy Hour like no other. Matty's Corner is one of the best bars you can visit. Stop in. You'll become a regular in no time

Just stop. You won't regret it. Great atmosphere. Initially it may seem like a "townie" bar, but you'll be welcomed and appreciated by staff and patrons alike. The food is delicious. The kitchen is small, but their menu changes daily with traditional fare that's always freshly made.

My favorite place to hang out when I am In CT. Friendly bartenders and customers! Feel welcome every time I get to be there! If you have not been in, stop by and they make you feel like family. Even the regulars are great!
