Nice bar. S/o to the bartender, smoke. Was a little quiet for a Saturday night but that was fine.

Drinks are cost too much money in these club and they don't have no way to sit down after spending money the music is just all trap music. I wasn't feeling it at all and the cover charges are 20 dollars.To have good time with drinks and cover at the door you spend easily 100dollars before you know it.i won't be back soon.

This place is the shhhhhh me and my wife was looking for a spot during pride ran up on this place and been coming since we are known from Wisconsin and is loved in there on top enjoy ourselves

I went to Jeffery Pub years ago. I really enjoyed myself there. I'm glad it's still open.

It’s been years but I love the music and the entertainment. Btw I’m a straight female. I just love being around gay men and house music. I was made this way. Love y’all

Had a great time here celebrating my friends life and it was my first time there and I loved the music and environment I left happy

Rather than rally support for one of the VERY FEW Chicago South Side venues catering to the LGBT+ population and its allies - that has managed to stay in business for DECADES - it’s so much easier to bash it. Dysfunction Breeds Discord. I appreciate the resilience of the business and its long history of providing a safe space for mainly Black LGBT+ folks on the South Side. It’s never been upscale but I don’t think it was intended to be. Back in the day, it was a rare watering hole for locals and none ever worried about murder on or near the premises because the neighborhood was quite decent. No more. While I think it’s unfortunate young people no longer have the JP as a convenient spot, they still have the other spot not too far away. I applaud the JP owner for his bold move to make the space safer AND attract patrons who are not caught up in the rap sway. I plan to continue patronizing the business, unless and until I’m given reason to no longer do so.
