Baryo is a chill spot I’ve taken advantage of the coffee in the morning before work and a stiff shot of bourbon after a long day at work. During my most recent visit I had the pleasure to have Chris as a bartender. My necessarily not like that Outsideguy was absolutely amazing……great suggestions on a bev and food options. Thx Chris I’ll catch you next time brother!!

Baryo is such a gem! The service here is absolutely exceptional! Every visit I’ve been greeted with such warmth and kindness, and you can tell they truly care about creating a great experience for their guests. The menu is full of fun, creative flavors and unique combinations that make it impossible to choose just one favorite. It’s such a welcoming spot with an energy that makes you want to come back again and again. Highly recommend!

Nice plan to hang out and get a drink. Server was friendly and tended to us quickly. Definitely recommend!

We heard that Baryo was now serving breakfast and coffee drinks so we went to check it out. The space is cute and shares the building with former Krill. I learned they also share the kitchen with that space and the chef Tyler came out and introduced herself and brought out the food. Jake was our barista and bartender and greeted us, answered all of our questions and made delicious lattes. We had the oat milk lavender latte which was a specialty drink and I can see why. The flavors are perfect and lavender goes so well with the espresso and honey and lavender . I had the matcha latte with lavender and it was also perfectly made and served in real porcelain cups vs to go containers. Our scrambles and potatoes were served in a plastic to-go container so that was a little odd however it was ready to just add a lid to take the leftovers. They offer breakfast sandwiches with your choice of bun, biscuit, tortilla and then choice of filling . The fried chicken sandwich on brioche looks amazing and we may try that next time. This is a fun place for breakfast and coffee and tea drinks and I would recommend checking it out when in this part of Durham. They also then have a full service bar for late night.

Delicious, unexpected combination with the Ango Mango Tango! 5/5 recommend! Bartender was so friendly!!! Will be coming back !

This new spot is amazing! Such a great and calming vibe. Feels very Durham and is a great place to work on your laptop, plenty of outlets, great wifi connection. Coffee and cocktails are great and great nightly programming. As a Durham native I encourage everyone to check this place out!
